Witness of Time: Belgrade Fortress

#NovemberGood Places2024 Belgrade Fortress is located in the oldest core area of ​​the city, also known as Kalemenden Fortress. In the past, people in the entire city lived within the city walls, so the history of Kalemenden Fortress is equivalent to the history of Belgrade. Chariots, guns and other weapons used in past wars are still displayed beside the fortress wall. It has gone through hundreds of battles over thousands of years and is known as the bloodiest city in history. Bulgarians and Byzantines took turns occupying it, as did Hungarians and Serbs. Taking a share of the pie, the owners of Kalemenden Fortress rotate rapidly like a revolving lantern, just like tourists looking at the flowers, glancing at the scenery, and it can be regarded as having visited the city. The whole tour lasted about two hours. It was a very good experience and highly recommended.
