The Great Wall of China, Mutianyu – Mission to Conquer Level 20🇨🇳

#TravelChina Before going, we were a little worried whether our bodies would be able to handle it because before this, we had been traveling non-stop for 4-5 days in a row. But with our hearts wanting to see the real Great Wall of China at least once in our lives, we decided to book a complete set of tickets via the Trip.com app, including a shuttle bus from Beijing, a shuttle bus, and a cable car up the mountain. We couldn’t think of anything else, so we just opened the app and booked! We chose to take the cable car up to Pass 14. Let me tell you, it was super chill. The view along the way was amazing. We saw the wall stretching along the mountain ridge, which was beyond description. After getting off the cable car, we started walking… walking up… walking… until we reached Pass 20 without realizing it. Along the way, there were steep sections, easy sections, and sections where we thought, “Did we make the right choice?” Especially near Pass 20, the stairs were so steep that we had to hold onto the railing for support. But what helped us get up was a group of elementary school children who were on a field trip. The children were running around the wall like they were on a playground! Seeing that, we had to hurry up and walk. We couldn’t give up on the kids! The weather that day was very cool, the sky was clear, and flowers were starting to bloom along the mountain range. It was so much fun taking photos. The view from afar along the wall was beautiful from every angle. Conclusion: If you are hesitating whether to go or not, go! Mutianyu is beautiful and easier to walk than you think (if you have the motivation of children, haha). And if you want convenience like us, I recommend booking everything through the app. You don't have to worry about transferring to other transportation. ⸻ #GreatWallofChina
