They said you haven’t been to China if you haven’t come to the Great Wall

#chinaattractions The Great Wall is among the most known destinations in the entire China. But little did people know, there are many segments of the Great Wall (since it used to span hundreds of miles). The two common options are Muyutian and Badaling. Both are not the nearest to go from Beijing and would take around 1.5hr. Somehow I picked the latter. The view was awesome. But do mind the weather. It’s extremely windy, so if the temperature would feel significantly colder. In fact I froze my fingers and they stayed numb for a month. So do choose a good time and stay warm. And the transportation got VERY DIFFICULT past 5pm. Do NOT risk it. Leave early. I almost couldn’t even get a cab back to the city without walking in dangerously dark roads.
