I finally got to try Beijing's super popular Kao Jiang restaurant! 

👏 Every time I passed by before, the incredibly long lines discouraged me. This time, I finally made it to their first Beijing location, and it was definitely worth the 2-hour wait! 🐟 Spicy Grilled Fish! The sea bass they use is top-quality, 🐟 so tender it melts in your mouth. The spicy flavor is truly soul-stirring, with chili and Sichuan peppercorns dancing on your tongue. Every bite is numbingly satisfying and intensely spicy. The tofu in the side dishes is absolutely amazing, soft, tender, and absorbs all the delicious flavors. The bamboo shoots and potato slices are also super flavorful, a perfect match for the grilled fish. 🥘 Crispy Tofu Take a bite while it's hot, and experience the crispy exterior and tender interior, bursting with flavor. The unique aroma of houttuynia cordata blends perfectly with the secret sauce, creating a complex and layered taste. It's the perfect accompaniment to a drink, and I could easily devour a whole plate by myself. 🍠 Cheese-Baked Sweet Potato This dish truly understands a girl's heart! The sweet and soft sweet potato blends perfectly with the rich cheese, creating a delightful mix of milky and sweet potato aromas. It's sweet but not overpowering, and each bite is pure bliss. The restaurant has a super cool, nightclub-like atmosphere, with flashing lights that create a great vibe. It's the perfect place for a gathering with friends. And 🎉 a new location is opening at Chaoyang Joy City on April 25th, making it even easier to enjoy Kao Jiang.
