Arrive even earlier on weekends and during peak season. After the flag-raising ceremony, you can visit the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Remember to keep quiet. 📍Great Wall journey Choose between Badaling or Mutianyu Great Wall. Badaling is more developed and closer to the city center. The high-speed train goes directly to the Great Wall. You can take Subway Line 2 to Xizhimen Station and then transfer to the high-speed train at Beijing North Railway Station. 📍Pray for blessings at the Temple of Heaven Buy a combo ticket to avoid missing highlights like the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The Temple of Heaven is closed on Mondays.
