Gongbei Pavilion is one of the landmark buildings in Shijingshan District

"Gongbei Pavilion" is located on Shijingshan Hill within the Shougang Park in Beijing, originally the site of the relic tower courtyard of the Jin Ge Temple Pagoda, which was built during the Tang Dynasty. In 1993, Shougang Group reconstructed the Gongbei Pavilion on the site of the Jin Ge Temple Pagoda courtyard, imitating the style of the Fo Xiang Ge Pavilion in the Longevity Hill of the Summer Palace, using concrete structures as the main material to display the achievements of those who contributed to the development of Shougang. The Gongbei Pavilion consists of a base, a pavilion, and a circular corridor, with a total of five floors and a height of 55.25 meters. It is the highest landmark on Shijingshan Hill and also an important node on the Yongding River Cultural Belt in the Western Hills of Beijing.
