Winter snapshots at Beijing Zoo

Beijing Zoo is located at No. 137, Xizhimen Outer Street, Exhibition Road Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. It was established in 1906 and officially named in 1955. The zoo is one of the largest in China, with the Beijing Exhibition Hall to the east and the Capital Stadium to the west. It exhibits about 400 species of rare wild animals, more than 5,000 in total, including the Eagle Mountain, Flamingo Pavilion, Rhino Hippo Pavilion and other animal houses, as well as Changguan Tower, Huifang Pavilion, Background Ocean Pavilion and other ancient buildings and science popularization venues. There are also star animals such as pandas, double-horned rhinos, and polar bears. The vegetation in the park is relatively rich, with a high coverage of trees. With the arrival of winter, the outdoors is a bit bleak, and the animals have become accustomed to being fed and cared for, appearing very calm, and leisurely spending the 'warm winter'.
