Barcelona Five-Day Four-Night Travel Guide

Barcelona is a city full of charm and excitement, and this five-day four-night itinerary will help you make the most of your visit. On day one, upon landing in Barcelona, if you can't check into your hotel yet, consider using Locker Barcelona to store your luggage. Luckily, I was able to check into my apartment early, located near the Boqueria Market. After a simple lunch, I headed towards the Sagrada Familia. Make sure to book your tickets in advance on sagradafamilia.org for entry at 2:00 PM, including access to one of the towers, for 36 euros. I stayed in an apartment near Catalonia Square and shopped for food in the evening. On day two, I spent the entire day shopping at La Roca Outlet. I booked the first bus at 9:00 AM on La Roca del Vallès Shopping Bus website, costing 18 euros for a round trip. The official bus stop is at Barcelona Nord, and even if you have the latest ticket, you can board early to return to the city. Day three was spent visiting Casa Milà, which I booked the night before for the first tour at 9:00 AM. The rooftop offers a view of the Sagrada Familia. After lunch, I shopped on Passeig de Gràcia, where brands like Rimowa, Loewe, and Moncler are available at great prices. On day four, after a leisurely morning, I decided to visit Casa Batlló. I booked a Blue ticket on the spot via trip.com, which was cost-effective. In the afternoon, I visited the Temple of the Sacred Heart, located at Tibidabo, which is highly recommended. On day five, I went to the beach early to watch the sunrise at L'Estel Ferit, the Lonely Star. After lunch, I strolled through the Gothic Quarter, visiting Barcelona Cathedral and the Kiss Wall. Near sunset, I headed to Bunkers El Carmel to watch the sunset, where you'll find many people. On day six, I left Barcelona early and took a train to Paris, France. Note that most malls are closed on Sundays, so it's advisable to plan sightseeing activities instead. In February, sunrise is around 7:55 AM and sunset around 6:15 PM, so check the weather forecast and consider watching the sunrise at the beach, arriving half an hour early to enjoy the blue hour. For shopping, the higher the total purchase amount at a store, the higher the tax refund rate. Store staff have a tax refund rate chart for reference. Transportation for long distances was mostly via Uber, while short distances were covered on foot. I didn't use the metro, but single tickets are 2.65 euros, and for groups of three or more, Uber is recommended. I thoroughly explored Barcelona during these five days! Sangria is delicious!
