One of the best places to enjoy Spanish tapas—and flautas!

#celebrateit People all know Spanish food culture revolves around all sort of tapas (appetizers), so all you need is to get a reliable place and order as freely as we want. One of the most sought-after place is Cerveseria Catalana, which has over 20000 reviews and locals go there too. I’ve been there and it’s good, but I’ve so happened to find another place 50m away from it, called La Flauta, which serves a nearly identical menu. And it turned out it’s just another sister restaurant under the same business group 😂 The good thing about this place is that it’s lesser known, so everytime I walked in I felt less pressure and noise from the crowd, which means more mood to enjoy the food! One of the signatures of both places is their foie gras, which I found extremely tender—almost raw that I personally found too oily, though the flavor is great. Many found it great too, but just mark my words so you do not order like 5 at one go. All the grilled seafood tapas are fresh and perfectly chargrilled. Most of them were around 4-8€ depending on the amount of seafood. Not exactly cheap, but the pricing is quite standard in all restaurants I have checked. Let me know if there’s really cheap good alternatives in the comments! I personally loved their flautas (or pito), which is just like a full (or half) baguette with generous toppings, which can be as low as 1.1€! With coffee/orange juice, a nice healthy and filling breakfast is doable around or even under 3€! I’ve tried many different topping combinations, three-cheese one was the best!
