Central Post Office

The General Post Office, one of the most striking architectural buildings on Charoen Krung Road, has a neoclassical architecture style that still provides complete postal services to the present. Inside the lobby of the Naruemit Post Office, it is designed in the Art Deco style. When combined with the ancient tile floor from the time the General Post Office was built, along with bright chandeliers and 16 bas-relief stamp sculptures that decorate the room, it makes the General Post Office lobby even more beautiful and classic, full of charm. In addition, the staff at the counter are dressed in retro uniforms, which are the only ones in Thailand. They are newly designed based on the uniforms of ancient postal officers, but have been adapted to be more modern. It is considered that customers will feel as if they have traveled back in time. The General Post Office, Bang Rak, Charoen Krung Road Open Monday-Friday 08.00-20.00 hrs., Saturday 08.00-17.00 hrs., and Sunday 08.00-12.00 hrs. On the left side of the building is TCDC (Thailand Creative and Design Center).
