See the Ubosot and Ayutthaya period murals.

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck ðŸĄWat Chong Nonsi was established in 2119 and received the royal charter of the boundary in 2528. The Fine Arts Department registered it as an important national historical site in 2520. The temple's ordination hall is open to visitors on Makha Bucha Day, Visakha Bucha Day, and Asalha Bucha Day. The important and interesting things in the temple are as follows: 🏠 The ordination hall has a base like a ship's hull. The front is a gable with four pillars supporting the roof structure. The gable is made of a wall with no carved patterns. The roof is wavy, tiled, and plastered with eaves. Inside is a stucco Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, in the art of the King Narai period. There are four more Buddha images arranged in a decreasing order. The base of the Buddha image has a stucco pattern. The lion's legs are in the shape of a Garuda. 🖞There are murals on all four sides, but only two are intact. They tell the story of the Ten Lives of the Buddha. It is considered one of the most complete Ayutthaya paintings, similar to Wat Prasat in Nonthaburi Province. It is believed to be a painting from the reign of King Borommakot. 🛕 Stupas and sema stones line the front of the chapel. â™Ļïļ Wat Chong Nonsi: 463 Phra Ram 3 Road, Chong Nonsi Subdistrict, Yan Nawa District, Bangkok ðŸŽŊ Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/xR9cfwECm8GT1cq48 🕕 Opening - closing hours: 06.00 - 18.30 hrs. #Bangkok attractions #Bangkok
