Worship the Buddha's head at Wat Prok, Yannawa

🏡Wat Prok was built in 1927 by the Mon people who migrated from Hongsawadi, Myanmar. The architecture of the temple features Mon and Hongsawadi art styles. The important and interesting features within the temple include: 🏠The Ubosot (ordination hall) houses Luang Pho Sian. It is said that the Buddha's head was found floating in the Chao Phraya River in front of Wat Yannawa. A lottery was held to decide where to enshrine it, and Wat Prok was chosen.
