During the war with Burma, Nang Noi, a widow, her two daughters, servants, and Phra Ajahn Nai, a Vipassana monk, migrated by boat from Ayutthaya until they arrived at this area, which was a dense forest without people. They therefore claimed a place to make a living. In the south of this area, there was an abandoned temple, an old church, and a temple in the shape of a junk. 🏠 When the country was peaceful, more people came to live there. Nang Noi, Phra Ajahn Nai, and the villagers worked together to renovate the abandoned temple. Later, the temple was named Wat Noi Nai.
