Wat Benchamabophit temple

#traveldiaries Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram is one of the most beautiful and famous royal temples in Bangkok, Thailand. It was built in 1899 by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong (Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong), the mistress of Rama Dynasty (5) King of Kulalongkorn. There are also two lions at the entrance of the temple. In 2005, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Most foreigners know it as Wat Ben. As for Myanmar people, it is commonly known as (#5 Baton Temple). The reason is because the image of the temple is attached to the Thai five baht coin. The temple is built with marble imported from Italy, and inside the temple, a bronze statue of the Sukhothai period (1238-1438) is worshiped. The statue's title is Phra Phuttha Chinnarat and it was installed in 1920.
