Here are some popular photo spots that won't require much walking. 1. Buddha in the Alley - Address: 60 Phet Kasem 15 Alley, Lane 9, Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10160 - As you walk through the alley, you'll find several spots to take photos. At the end, you'll reach the Shipyard Café. 2. Buddha from the Overpass - Address: Lat ya 8 alley - This spot is easy to miss. Look for the 7-Eleven under the overpass. It's best to wait until sunset for the perfect shot. You'll need a telephoto lens (at least 400mm) for this spot. 3. Buddha by the Water - Address: 796 Soi Thoet Thai 26 - This spot offers a better view than the Shipyard Café. It's located at an elderly lady's doorstep, so be respectful. We gave her 20 baht, and she was very accommodating. 4. Shipyard Café - Address: Walk straight through the alley until the end. - Enjoy coffee with a view of the Buddha. You can book a boat to Wat Paknam, with options for a 15-minute ride directly to the temple (150 baht/person) or a 30-minute ride with photo opportunities (200 baht/person). 5. Looking Up at the Buddha - Address: Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen Bangkok - Inside Wat Paknam, you can capture the Buddha from below. Use your ticket to access this spot. You can also find various angles of the Buddha along the riverside. 6. Other Spots (not visited due to time constraints) - TT Coffee offers views of both Wat Paknam Buddha and Wat Arun. Located at At Talat Philu, you need to order to access the rooftop. It's a 5-minute walk from the riverside spot, perfect for a break.
