Wat Pariwas Ratchasongkhram or Wat Pariwas is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River on Rama III Road. It is a temple built since the late Ayutthaya period. It was originally a small temple, but it has been renovated until it became a beautiful temple that is worth visiting. The interesting thing about this temple is the ordination hall with beautiful stucco art. But what is different from other temples and is unlike any other is the use of contemporary stucco art in the form of cartoon characters or superheroes of all nationalities, interspersed with stucco art of gods, angels, fairies, and various animals. When we walk around the ordination hall, we will see Pikachu, Superman, Pinocchio, Captain America, Luffy from One Piece, and the old turtle from Dragon Ball, etc. The fact that Wat Pariwas uses contemporary stucco art to decorate this ordination hall not only creates interest and attracts tourists of all ages, but also conveys that no matter what nationality or religion you are, you can still be Buddhists. Inside the chapel is a Sukhothai Buddha statue, which is over 700 years old and is highly revered by locals and tourists. The back of the temple is on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. You can walk to feed the fish and enjoy the view of the Chao Phraya River.
