Making merit in the Northeast

This trip, we had the opportunity to visit Udon Thani as a family of 8. The first place that came to mind when coming to Udon Thani was to make merit at Khamchanod because of the belief in the Naga. When we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty and grandeur of this place. Starting with having to take off your shoes to enter, it was very hot outside before entering. But when we went inside, it was cool and shady. When it was time to pay respects to the shrine, someone led the prayers. Looking into the shrine, we felt a sense of magic. Inside, there was a path full of large trees and pools of water. When we kept walking, we found a sacred well. Next to the well, there was holy water that we could scoop up to take home.
