Khamchanod, Wangnakin

Khamchanod, Wangnakin, Udon Thani Province 🙏🌿🐍 is a forest that looks like an island, growing in the middle of a rice field, full of Chanod trees (which look like palm trees and coconut trees combined). According to local legend, this place is the gateway to the underworld, the home of the Naga, ruled by the Naga King Pu Sri Sutho and Mother Sri Pathumma Naga Ratchadevi. 🌴🐍👍 The entrance to Khamchanod forest is a concrete walkway with a left and right wall with a statue of a Naga's torso. Everyone must take off their shoes and walk barefoot along this walkway.
