Trip to Lanzhou, China 🇨🇳

Lanzhou, the heart of Gansu Province, is a vibrant city where history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes come together. When we visited, we explored iconic landmarks, peaceful riverside views, and stunning mountain scenery—each offering incredible photography opportunities. If you’re looking for the best places to capture Lanzhou’s beauty, here are three must-visit spots! Zhongshan Bridge – The First Bridge Over the Yellow River 🌉 One of the most iconic landmarks we photographed in Lanzhou was Zhongshan Bridge, often called the “First Bridge Over the Yellow River.” Standing on the bridge, we captured stunning views of the river with the city skyline in the background. The best time for photos is at sunset when the golden light reflects off the water, creating a magical atmosphere. For an even better perspective, take a boat ride on the Yellow River! 📍 Address: Zhongshan Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China White Pagoda Mountain – A Panoramic View of Lanzhou 🏯 We hiked up White Pagoda Mountain and were rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lanzhou and the Yellow River. The ancient White Pagoda at the top adds a beautiful cultural element to any photo. The best time to visit is early morning when the city is bathed in soft light, making for incredible wide-angle shots. If you love combining nature and cityscapes in your photography, this is the perfect spot! 📍 Address: North of the Yellow River, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China Gansu Provincial Museum – A Glimpse into the Silk Road Era 🏺 For history lovers, the Gansu Provincial Museum is a must-visit. We explored its impressive collection of Silk Road artifacts, ancient Buddhist relics, and the famous Bronze Galloping Horse. The museum’s dim lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, perfect for capturing artistic indoor shots. To avoid crowds and get the best photos, visit in the morning when it first opens. 📍 Address: No. 3, Xijin West Road, Qilihe District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China Lanzhou is a city full of contrasts, offering a mix of cultural heritage, modern cityscapes, and stunning natural scenery. Whether you’re photographing historical sites, the Yellow River, or mountain views, every corner of Lanzhou has a story waiting to be captured! 📷✨ #discoverchina #vacation #travel
