Great stay in Bad Ischl

Bad Ischl is a transfer point in the Austrian Lake District. There are few hotels, but many homestays! I chose this one because I was amazed by the 95 square meters. The difference was not much, so I definitely chose the bigger one! 📍Location Close to the train and bus stations, a 5-minute walk away, facing the Traun River, and a large supermarket at the intersection. The main town is not big, and it takes only 7-8 minutes to walk to the main street! ❤️Pros 🌟Beautiful‼️ It's like a dream mansion in a TV series! Because it is a villa renovated in 1890 (Grandma Sophie), it retains the retro furniture. The decoration is three elements: black, white, and wood (my dad wants to renovate his own house). Two bedrooms and one living room, a large terrace with blankets, and every afternoon we would sit on the terrace and have tea🫖 🌟Self-check-in, the landlord will tell you in detail how to open the door, avoiding the embarrassment of face-to-face socializing. And it's on the first floor, no need to climb stairs! 🌟Comfortable, first of all, floor heating, a must-have! Fully equipped (although I don't know how to use the washing machine and oven😅) The kitchen is equipped with coffee, milk, butter, bread, and jam. Breakfast can be solved at home every day, especially on the last night, my dad cooked a warm steak🥩 meal with the butter! ⚫️Cons Common problem of homestays, no luggage storage No shower gel or shampoo No air conditioning in summer ❤️Some episodes The landlord sent me check-in information as soon as I booked. After reading how to open the door, I still didn't understand. The Apple area said there was no shower gel or shampoo (mainly because there was none in the whole process, and I was a little unhappy to carry it), so I asked the landlord if there were any toiletries and which floor to stay on. 🥺I didn't expect to be retorted, meaning "We are not a hotel, it is impossible to provide shower gel, everyone has different preferences, it is impossible to meet everyone's needs", "Where to open the door means living on the first floor", and finally "Please be sure to read the information carefully". At that time, I thought, are Austrians so fierce? I really read it carefully! I checked in with trepidation, but the experience was very good. The landlord was actually very attentive. He sent me a message again before check-in to remind me to bring toiletries. There is a note in the cabinet. 🥹Later, I told him about this in Chinese, and he apologized to me, saying that he was too excited because people often didn't read the messages and blamed him～Of course, our family also cleaned up and sorted the garbage before checking out.
