Our Lord in the Attic Museum (Former Hidden Catholic Church)

#europetrip The only surviving home-hidden Catholic Church in Amsterdam from the long ago days when Catholics and Jews had to worship in secret. Interesting history and well preserved sacred items. Beware of the lockers. They are a bit confusing and I found mine unlocked when I returned. Fortunately nothing was missing. It attracts the honest type of visitor. The location is easy to find and not far from the Central Station. It's just around the corner, or two, from the St. Nicholas Basilica. They offer drinks and snacks. The restrooms are clean. An elevator is available for only PART of the tour. There are lots of stairways. There is no parking available but you can easily walk from the tram stops and Metro station.
