Abu Simbel is amazing and worth it It was worth the 8⃣️ hour round trip drive from Aswan to get here. The huge stone on the front of the temple is a statue of Ramses II If you look carefully at the giant stone statue outside, you can see that the stone statue is engraved with names and years.
