Very close to registan square, it is just walking distance. Nice neighborhood, nice scenery. Only issue that i had was that they dont have elevator and we had big luggages but all in all, we had a great stay! Thank you!
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand
4.6/570 Reviews
Hilton Garden Inn is very good. There is a young man at the front desk who is very enthusiastic and speaks very good Chinese. He not only helped us with our luggage but also accompanied us to wait for the bus and introduced us to the hotel. He is very nice. The hotel environment is elegant. There is an electricity card in the room. The room is very large and new, with a slight decoration smell. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat many local specialties such as baked buns, preserved fruits, dried fruits, and nuts. The location is 3 kilometers away from the core scenic area, and it is convenient to take a taxi.
Shohjahon Palace Hotel & Spa
4.5/536 Reviews
We really liked the hotel, it is not big, but very cozy with high-quality repairs. It is conveniently located on a quiet street. A 10-minute walk from Registan. Our room was spacious, two-room with a beautiful view of the courtyard. The administrators were friendly, they were in touch before the trip, clarified the details of the arrival. On the day of arrival, we ordered a sauna with a pool for an hour. The water is cool, you can’t swim for a long time (we were there in January). The sauna is paid 100 thousand soums per person per hour, you can use the pool for free. After a long journey, we liked this option. We met other hotel guests only at breakfast, and otherwise we could not hear anyone, which personally pleased us very much. We really wanted to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Another plus of a vacation in the off-season. Breakfasts are served in the neighboring building on the ground floor, in the form of a buffet from 7 to 10 in the morning. Everything was delicious. Lots of pastries, fruits, yogurts, pancakes, cheesecakes, sausages and cheese of several kinds, dried fruits and nuts, fried eggs on request and made coffee. After such a hearty breakfast, we had our second meal only in the evening. Special thanks to Dilya, she cooked everything with soul and home-style. She packed us lunch boxes, because on the day of departure we did not have time to have breakfast (there was an early flight). We were pleased with the trip to Samarkand. I recommend the hotel.
Medina Hotel Samarkand

A good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, ”Wait a minute, now it's double the price.” Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Sogd
4.7/592 Reviews
There was a misunderstanding with my previous booking for another property in the same wellness complex near Samarkand, but when I got to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Sogt instead, I felt in good hands from the first minute - and all there was perfect, at least for my understanding. Cozy, warm, quiet and simply, but stylishly furnished rooms, amazing bed and bathroom, huge TV (which I didn't use for a second, but it's nice to know you have one), and all this - in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful surrounding. Probably the best hotel service you can get in Samarkand, is in that area. Airport is 20 minutes away, similar is the time to the downtown and historic area of Samarkand. Yandex taxis are available day and night, and their rates are something you can't even dream of in the Western world.
Mövenpick Samarkand
4.3/542 Reviews
The service was excellent. There was a young man at the reception who was learning Japanese, and the response when we had any problems was quick and good. The hotel is also in a good location, close to tourist attractions and shopping facilities, so if you use this hotel as your base, you'll be able to enjoy central Samarkand to the fullest. I'd like to stay here again.
Hotel Osiyo Plaza
4.1/54 Reviews
I didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.

One of the best hotels, very hospitable hosts. Attentive and will help you with everything. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook everything yourself. If I am in Samarkand, I will return to this hotel again. I recommend. 10/10. All attractions are within walking distance 🔥
