As my wife has much of her family and friends Mostar, we are relatively frequently visitors to this amazing city. We have tried out several alternative hotels over the years but there are few reasons to go elsewhere than Villa Fortuna. This centrally located, traditionally hotel delivers on comfort and convenience for an affordable price. However, its best asset is the staff. Especially Nela goes above and beyond to ensure her guests wellbeing. We feel that she really anticipates our wishes. Her warmness and easygoing generosity seem to inspire her entire team. At our latest staying in mid-September we were given a well-appointed room at the second floor. The terrace allowed for an unobstructed view of the cityscape. The room itself was not big, but the space was adequate for two persons. The bed had a comfortable mattress and high-quality sheets. There was a small fridge that came in handy for us. As another reviewer mentioned, the lighting is bright, but who stays in the room much anyway? There is a backyard available for guests with a small bar. Here you will find a seating area which provides a cozy and cooler refuge on a warm summer night. In sum Villa Fortuna is a great choice in Mostar.
