Highly recommended. Before going, I thought it was just to put the room in the desert, nothing more than to see the scenery, and we adults don't dig sand. After going, I found it is still recommended.
Process: Take a taxi to the Gate of Time and Space, which is the reception of the Star Hotel, which is actually the front desk, and check in here. We arrived at the Gate of Time and Space at almost 14:00. If there is a room, you can enter the room first. After checking in (giving a wristband), wait for the jeep to take us to Star Coffee (Star Coffee is equivalent to a transfer station. If there is anything, basically gather there). When we arrived at Star Coffee, we changed to the shuttle bus to the room. Ours was a cabin in Area B (I also visited Area A, each with its own merits, and Area B is also good, with rows of cabins).
Put the luggage in the room, call to ask how to get to Shapotou, then walk to Star Coffee, and wait for a while, there will be a car to take you to the Shapotou desert area.
After we arrived at the desert area, we immediately changed to the Shapotou bus to the Yellow River area. We played in the Yellow River area first. After playing (2.5 hours), we took the bus back to the desert area, got off the bus, took the hotel bus back to Star Coffee, walked back to the room, sorted out, and went to Area A for dinner.
The next day, after breakfast, we went to the sand near the room, sorted out our bags, took a rest, called the hotel, and sent a shuttle bus to pick us up and send us to Star Coffee. At this time, you can communicate with the staff of Star Coffee to go to the Shapotou Desert Area or go to the Gate of Time and Space to leave. After a while, a car came. My mother and I went to the desert area to play, and my father took the luggage to the Gate of Time and Space (front desk) to rest. They were all in the same car, and my mother and I got off first.
Room: Not big, two boxes spread out, not very walkable (it is recommended that the boxes can be placed next to the bed like a mat), the mattress is still comfortable, and one bed can sleep 2 adults. The slippers are very comfortable and thick. There are drinks, nuts, and yogurt in the refrigerator; the toiletries are L'Occitane. The water table is not very big, so it is not recommended to put it on the washstand.
Breakfast: Very rich, I like it very much, the environment is very good, and the taste is good.
Dinner: We checked in on 4/26, and we can go to the buffet in Area A to enjoy it without paying extra. We have everything we need, including lamb, beef, ice cream, beer, vegetables, pasta, and water. Go to the buffet in Area A, and you can actually take a look at the room types in Area A. They are quite good to take pictures. When you go out to play, everything is very novel.
Activities: You can go sandboarding. In fact, it is very tiring to play sandboarding twice, because you have to pull the sandboard to the high ground. You can pat the small bugs on the ground, which are easy to find and crawl around. The Stargazing Valley is cloudy, you can't see anything, and it is very cold. But the teacher is very hard, very serious, and very contagious.
It is recommended to stay for 2-3 nights. We stayed for 1 night and had a full experience. The hotel is well connected in all aspects, and some minor problems can be forgiven.
The experience of staying in this hotel is really good. The lobby on the first floor is magnificent and grand. The front desk check-in is fast. The customer service is very enthusiastic. Before I arrived, they added WeChat to send me travel tips and food recommendations. Seeing that I was bringing my children, I applied for a breakfast with the manager. The manager took the initiative to send children slippers, toothbrushes, and welcome fruits. It is worth praising that there are many breakfasts, and the desserts, cakes, and mugwort noodles that children love are also good. There are quite a lot of varieties. I recommend it to friends who are on business trips. The overall design of the room is relatively reasonable. The space under the clothes hanger is just right for an open suitcase. It is convenient to take things without bending over and taking up space. The shower and toilet are separated separately, which is relatively convenient for us two adults and two children.
Service: Very good

The future cabin design of the Mars base is great, with a smart toilet, plenty of hot water, Dyson hair dryer, L'Occitane toiletries, and a rich welcome fruit plate. It can be said that it has everything. Unfortunately, we encountered extreme weather during the two days we went there. We felt the power of the sandstorm and spent half of the time playing in the room. It was considered a bad stay haha. Fortunately, the wind stopped at night, and we watched two nights of bonfire parties in a row. The children liked it very much. When the wind stopped during the day, we took the time to go sandboarding. The children loved sandboarding so much. It was super fun. On the third day, it finally cleared up. We went to Tonghu Grassland Scenic Area to brush the project. It was still very cost-effective with a 50% discount. 150 per person, you can play four projects: horse riding, camel riding, surfing car, and motorcycle. The housekeeper Xiaodong took very thoughtful care and provided us with great convenience. He deserves a five-star praise.
The first time I took my children to the desert to live in a tent, the experience was good. The facilities are complete, the small butler service is warm and thoughtful, the car is picked up and sent on call, and we also prepared mineral water and shoe covers in advance. The desert project played the B package, which was very fun. There is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, and the atmosphere is very good. The temperature difference between day and night in the desert is very large. The tent is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the room, but the tent is still a bit leaky. If you take your children to watch the stars at night and watch the sunrise in the morning, you need to prepare thick clothes in advance. Overall, it is very good.
The room was clean and sanitary. I stayed here for three days. Breakfast is also good. There are steamed cereals, Western pastries, cold dishes and hot dishes every day. They are very child-friendly and basically not spicy. Yogurt, pudding, milk, soy milk and porridge are available. Diagonally opposite the hotel is Xiangyang Street (BBQ Street).
The hotel is also conveniently located to several attractions in the city. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the Drum Tower and Gaomiao. There is a park behind Chairman Mao, and across the park is the Gaomiao. Zhongwei Museum is a 6-minute taxi ride away.
The hotel staff are all warm and polite. I left my mobile phone charging cable behind when I left. The cleaning staff found it in time and the lady at the front desk picked it up for me and brought it back down. She also gave souvenirs to the children. I’m really happy! The child asked why he should stay at Guyu Jasmine Hotel next time he comes to Zhongwei.
The most recommended wooden house in Zhongwei is this one, with a very high cost performance. My mother stayed in a tent the next day. After comparison, she was much more satisfied with the Sand Ship. Hahaha. We were received by the housekeeper Ajun, who replied to everything in seconds. All the staff were very friendly. It was a pity that we checked in during the off-season, and the atmosphere of the bonfire party was not very lively. However, there were all the necessary things, including fireworks. The buffet dinner was cancelled, and you can order your own food. The portion of the dishes is really 2.3 times that of our Hangzhou. In general, it is like the style of a homestay, with a friendly feeling. There are also many types of breakfast buffets, which are completely enough. I found that the mixed vegetables in Ningxia are very delicious. When I left, I was given a souvenir, which was very loving. I will come again next time I have the chance
I planned to go to the desert for a long time in advance. I found various strategies on the Internet. The scalp was numb. Then I set a desert hotel for one night at Feifei beauty. She was very careful and patient. She helped me optimize the lack of strategies. Many detours are less, saving time costs. Our family has elderly children, and Feifei beauty is also very caring for various help. And the environment around their home is very good, the desert is much larger than Shapotou, and it is very cool and comfortable at night.
The room is very good. Walking out of the French window is the desert. Each house is far away from each other, with good privacy and a wide view. The bed is clean and comfortable, two big beds or less. The hotel helped us merge two 1.2 single beds together. We are not afraid of the air conditioning being very warm at night. There is also heating in winter. In addition, the service is very good. From the beginning of booking the room, I called to consult and was very patient to explain the room and travel route problems to me. I called twice in total, and the call time was very long. The front desk staff was really patient and professional. After arriving at the store, the service was as good as always. Whether it is the front desk, the shuttle bus driver, or the restaurant staff, they all have good service, enthusiasm and patience. This may also be the characteristic of our northwest people, hospitality! In short, this hotel is very satisfactory and worth coming again. There are also children's activities, handicrafts, stargazing explanations, and the fireworks at night are beautiful! Special thanks to Xiao Jiang at the front desk, because I heard that she should answer the phone, and the service after arriving at the store is also meticulous. The photos are all taken by my mobile phone in real life, which is really beautiful!

GGuest UserMy friend came to Ningxia from other places to see me, so he brought him to the desert. The newly opened hotel is quite good. The new lotus tent we stayed in, I have to say that the boss is very enthusiastic, the friends are very happy, a very NICE experience~
MMercury0987655Recommended by a friend, it is really good, the first time I experienced the tent room, the room. The environment and the picture match, very comfortable, the service is polite, the hot water is sufficient and the bath is comfortable, the boss is very enthusiastic to introduce the local play guide, next time I bring my children to experience, I also choose here!
GGuest UserSincere evaluation, before I went to see xhs, I said that the desert hotel can't avoid sand. This is really super clean. There is no sand on the bed. I didn't see it on the ground. I wondered how they cleaned it. The hotel has a little food at noon, the desert price is delicious. In the evening, there is a buffet skewers, 120 people, half price for children, free drinks. The boss of the desert project drives to pick up and drop off, and the hotel can buy a package directly. In the evening, there are rich activities, bonfire party, magic, fireworks, and starry sky class, which will be brought to the sand slope to talk. The most important thing is that the bath water is big and hot, much better than the one set by a friend, recommended
DDan﹡xiaojuanerAfter choosing many hotels, I finally booked this one. It was a great experience. The two beds in the sand view room were very large. It was very comfortable for a family of four. It had a private bathroom, a smart toilet, and 24-hour hot water. It was really great in the desert. You can go sandboarding right outside the room. The children had a lot of fun. They were covered in sand. They took a shower when they came back. It was so convenient. Fortunately, we booked a private bathroom. The bonfire party and fireworks at night were also amazing. Adults and children had a lot of fun. The boss was very nice and delivered anything we needed immediately. I will come again! Good review!
ZZhibaojiThere is electricity, internet, and public bathrooms in the desert. The breakfast buffet is a bit expensive, but you can bring your own food. There are also snacks such as instant noodles. Breakfast is a free simple meal. There are fireworks and bonfire parties in the evening. If it is too cold in the middle of the night, there are electric mattresses. , it is very convenient to have these in the desert. You can have more time to think about how to play and how to take pictures. I booked a double bed room due to lack of experience, but the landlady helped me upgrade it to a parent-child room, which was more convenient.
GGuest UserThe desert is a paradise for children. Sandboarding is so fun. The hotel provides a lot of sandboards. The bed is very wide and you can sleep very soundly.
Bonfire night fireworks show: very beautiful
Tengger Desert tickets: presented by the boss
Unlimited sandboarding: This is the most fun project
Finally, I would like to praise the boss, he is very good at doing business, very flexible and simple!
Business is booming!

GGuest UserWho understands, my family members! Stayed in a super cool starry sky tent in the Zhongwei Desert in Ningxia! Ride a camel to see the endless sand dunes during the day, and lie on the terrace to count the stars at night! The chef is amazing, every dish is delicious, the sizzling meat skewers grilled by the guy, the crispy butter wrapped with cumin burst on the tip of your tongue! The Border Collie named ”Diandian” has been squatting like a stone statue, with the sand swept up by its tail rising and falling with the smell of meat, just waiting for you to feed it! The surfing car during the day and the bonfire party at night are all worth it. Now looking at the group photo on my phone, with its furry head still rubbing against my knees, I really want to pack my luggage right away and rush to Beidou Xingye!
MMaurice AuThis desert hotel is close to the dunes and Crescent Lake, with a great view, suitable for watching the starry sky and sunrise. The staff is warm and thoughtful, the butler service is intimate, the pick-up is timely, and the activities are super rich. In terms of facilities, tents and cabins are clean and tidy, with electric blankets and disposable supplies. Some rooms have separate bathrooms and sanitary conditions exceed expectations. The entertainment projects are superb, unlimited sandboarding, desert off-road vehicles, camel riding, sand digging, etc. are all fun, especially off-road flying cars, exciting and interesting, loved by family guests, and children have a great time. The camp also has barbecue, buffet and other catering services. In the evening, there are bonfire parties, fireworks shows, starry sky viewing and other activities. The atmosphere is warm and the overall experience is superb. The time to come is too short and the activity arrangement has not been perfected to make the experience more perfect. I really want to stay a few more days
CChengchengI am really lucky to live in Cocoa Garden this time! Must come to Trip.com give a good review to help increase points 💖
• Environment: Once you step in here, it's like walking into the secret garden in the city. There are lush green plants and colorful flowers everywhere, and the air is filled with a faint fragrance of flowers. Whether it is a small stroll on a lounge chair in the courtyard or a stroll on the garden path, it is full of pleasant and full holiday atmosphere.
• Hygiene: The room and public areas are too clean to fault! The sheets and quilts are white as snow, there is no stain, the bathroom is spotless, and the toiletries are neatly arranged. The tables and chairs in the public areas and the floor are always clean, and it can be seen that the store has spent a lot of thought on hygiene.
• Service: From the warm reception at the front desk when checking in, to the timely response of various needs during the stay, the attitude of the service staff is impeccable. One day I accidentally left things in the restaurant, and the staff quickly contacted me to return it. It was really intimate.
• Facilities: The room has all the facilities, the bedding is comfortable, and the sleep is super fragrant. There are starry sky terraces, leisure umbrellas and lounge chairs in the public area. There is also free parking and a convenient self-service laundry room, which fully meets travel needs.
I really recommend it to all the friends who plan to travel, it is right to live here!
