Family-friendly Hotels in Zhangye

A fantastic hotel. I usually don’t like staying in big hotels as they tend to be soulless, but this one was really special. From the fresh cucumber face mask to the hot soak for your feet, they are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The service is fantastic. They were really helpful to us as foreigners, highly recommend!

The hotel is still in the trial stage and will be officially opened on the 9th. It can be seen that the hotel investment owner is a person with strength, feelings, and his own preferences. He has his own property and a customized hotel tailored for him. The corridors, functional areas, and the length, width, and height of the room are practical and atmospheric. All the materials used are relatively high-end, and the entire decoration style is Chinese. Breakfast was also carefully prepared. Some ingredients were expensive, such as prawns and shrimps, but unfortunately there were no fried eggs. The biggest shortcoming is that only the hot air conditioner in the room is open, and the temperature is very high, which affects the quality of sleep. At night, I can only expose my feet outside the quilt when I sleep. I called the front desk and the answer was that there was no cold air cooling, only hot air conditioning, or turn off the hot air conditioner, but in fact it couldn't be turned off. The temperature inside was too hot, which neither saved energy consumption nor reduced the experience.

Hygiene: The carpet is a bit stained Environment: Very good, West Bus Station is right downstairs, and the location is quiet! The corridor has antique-like furnishings and the passage is wide. There is also a museum on the third floor of the hotel, but it’s a pity that we don’t have enough time to visit it. The beds are also unique. Facilities: The hot water for bathing comes out quickly but not hot enough! Bedside touch screens are generally problematic. For example, a ”night light” can cause an alarm at the door. There is a humidifier. Service: The front desk service is good! Great turndown service! They just didn’t remind me that there was breakfast.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

The location of the hotel is very good, the front desk service is also very good, clean and hygienic, there are many restaurants nearby, the Yili Laoma chicken is delicious, the beef is also delicious, the boss of Dachai beef rice is very good and delicious, 8 yuan for a big bowl, walking distance It takes a few minutes to get to Zhangye Museum. The shuttle bus returns from Colorful Danxia at 18:30, so if you want to wait for sunset, you need to charter a bus for 150 round trip. Danxia at sunset is indeed different.

A very cost-effective hotel. The room comes with a large soaking pool. There are unlimited hot springs in the shower and pool. The natural hot spring water relieves the fatigue of travel! It’s also more convenient to eat around. Recommended

I want to say that Runhu Hotel is so warm❤. When we entered the door on a cold day, a smiling little beauty handed us a hot towel to wipe first👋, then warm homemade jujube tea🍵, and helped us take our luggage to the room. Then we sent a welcome fruit plate and a footbath to wash away the fatigue of the trip, which was great! The customer service was also amazing. It was too cold and I didn't want to go out for dinner, so I went directly to the restaurant on the second floor. The service was also great and the portion was large. I will choose to stay again next time. I sincerely recommend it to those who need it👏🏻. There is another thing I forgot to mention, that is, there is a humidifier with a large amount of mist in the room, which I really love.

The room is large, the bed is comfortable, and the sleep quality is good. The breakfast is rich, with many options and good taste. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is large and convenient for self-driving guests. Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon is very spectacular and shocking, and it is worth a visit.

The location of the villa is very good. It is in a wetland park with a lake in front. You can take a walk by the lake at night without leaving the community. The lights by the lake are particularly beautiful and the night view is beautiful. Parking is also very convenient. The room was clean, tidy and upscale, and the experience was great.

Our experience in this hotel was perfect ! They upgraded us for free, our room was really clean, spacious and really comfortable. The staff is really friendly and accommodating, and even if they don’t speak english we could discuss on WeChat. Finally, the hotel is located really close to old town and to the temple. There is a bus in front of it to go to both train stations. Definitely recommend to stay here during your trip in Zhangye !
