Xibu Old Street was closed, and the hotel should be idle. Many facilities in the room were flooded, and the public areas were thick with dust. Then we stayed at 1715 for one night, and we cried so much. But the butler Xiao Huang was ok, he helped with the itinerary and tickets. But the price was way off, way off!

The main advantage of this hotel is the staff. The hotel manager helped us create a sightseeing plan, bought all the necessary tickets, sent a detailed itinerary, and thus saved us a lot of time and made our journey easier! Location was super near the Jiangjiajie National Park, it was within walking distance or taxi was only 6 renminbi (or less if you use coupons on your own). Also, it was within walking distance to the stores and restaurant on the main street, yet quiet enough for a good night sleep. Service was superb and their "butler" service was over and beyond. The sole of a shoe fell and they managed to buy and bring us a brand new sole glue as requested within 30 minutes. The butler's trip itinerary suggestions were also very well planned and detailed that we do not need to hire a tour guide for the whole trip, we can just do it ourselves. The auntie cooks breakfast for you every morning, and different options were available. They have adopted a cat and you can play with it in the lobby if you are lucky enough to see it! Most importantly, room is very warm even in Winter. The only down side was it was a bit far from the city centre (30 min drive) but thats what you get when you want to stay nearer to the mountains, and we were totally fine with that.

Very good! The decoration is exquisite and elegant, the service is considerate and thoughtful, and the breakfast is warm and homely. The location is also very good. It is not close to the East Gate, so it is not crowded and noisy, but it is not far away and has convenient transportation. It is a high-quality B&B. I like it.
