Hotels near Baofeng Lake, Zhangjiajie

Not the real 'Four Seasons' you might think of but otherwise, had an overall great experience there. Before the trip, WeChat-ed them and customer service was quick to respond to accomodate and provide transportation pick up service from the train station. However, despite messaging prior to inform about the changes in our number of pax/luggages so that they can arrange for a bigger car to pick up, there was a mix-up as the hotel forgot to cancel the first car allocated to us, leaving us stranded for around 30 mins (in the cold) at the parking lot while we wait for the correct car to arrive. It also wasted the first driver's time as he got there early and waited for us despite us not needing his services in the end.  The hotel itself was located in a nice location, and the room was great. It was high-tech where most of the room controls are controlled by 'Xiao Du' their Alexa/Google Home service which only responds in Mandarin so for those who are unable to speak then there's no use for it. The smart toilet is enjoyable as the seats are heated and the bidet function is much needed. One interesting thing is that one of the windows in all the rooms is always left partially open (unsure the true reason for it) but it may be bothersome to some as we went during winter so personally i didn't mind it as a natural air conditioning since most of the room is heated.  The driver service that the hotel provided can then also be directly hired by fellow travellers if you require the service to get to and fro the different attractions/parks that you would be visiting during your holiday in Zhangjiajie. Overall had a good experience here. Only wished for the hotel breakfast to offer more variety, it was decent enough. 

The B&B is a few minutes' drive from the core scenic area of ​​Wulingyuan and the National Forest Park. You can check in and enter. It is not far from the surrounding food streets. The boss recommended authentic three-pot, Tujia bacon and other specialties! The B&B is hidden at the foot of the mountain, with green trees and early morning, beautiful and comfortable. The room is warm and elegant, with excellent lighting and ventilation. It provides detailed travel guides, including the best tour routes, popular attractions, and check-in times. When checking in, they are warmly welcomed and help with luggage. If you encounter problems during the tour, they can also help solve them in time. When leaving, they also help call a taxi, and the service is so thoughtful. This time in this B&B in Wulingyuan, I enjoyed a super high cost performance.

The room is clean and tidy, equipped with an elevator, and the toilet is very large. Taking a shower is very comfortable, and the hot water is available 24 hours a day. The boss is very enthusiastic. It's not very far from the scenic spot, and it only takes about ten minutes by taxi. When you leave the entrance of the inn, you can see the breakfast place, and there are also places to eat nearby.

Room is big, clean and comfortable. Great location access to sightseeing and restaurant supermarkets are just near by. Counter lady was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. George from the concierge was very helpful in booking our tickets. The location is fantastic, close to East Gate, with major attractions just a few kilometers away. Although we hired a Didi, it's also possible to walk to these attractions. The western food section in the restaurant could use some improvement; the pizza tasted more like cheese on bread than an actual pizza. However, the breakfast buffet was quite nice. We definitely recommend this place for families, as the pool is great for both kids and adults after a long day of walking.

Had a pleasant time staying here. Reception was friendly and very helpful in booking tickets for attractions. It was easy to communicate through WeChat, the forest is a 10 minute walk to the entrance . Located close to the shops and the theatre show. Our last day was at Tianmen mountain which is an hour from this hotel. Reception told us we could leave our luggage with them and for 20 yuan per piece they would consign our luggage to the station for us and we could pick it up from there. It worked out extremely well for us as the station is 30 mins from the mountain. Breakfast was good and our view from the room was awesome! Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel with an excellent location (only 10 min walking distance from the East Gate). Spacious, clean rooms. Delicious breakfast with a variety of choices. Friendly staff, especially Ms. Yi Peng, who has been incredibly helpful with directions and transportation assistance. The hotel can also help with booking shows and attraction tickets at a discount, which is excellent. Highly recommend, and we will definitely return when visiting Zhangjiajie!

This local hotel is about 15 mins walk from East gate and appears rather new but which still need some final touches. The facade is elaborate and the waiting area with elegant chinese style panels and have a potential to be run as a designer boutique hotel but the place can be a little more tidy. The roof top garden has the view of the mountains not unlike a chinese ink painting but it’s not operating during winter. Most importantly they have big clean rooms for 2 spacious beds with spotless beds and sheets and the two host are very helpful to explain the routes to the national park and also trying their best to explain the the choices of breakfast they serve. 5 stars for their attitude. Ps there is a slope up toward their entrance and not suitable for elderly

Very good service in give National Forest guide direction For people who first time coming to Zhangjiajie like us, this hotel has very good service. They provide some staff that assist tourists to get a guide direction in Zhangjiajie National Forest route. This national forest park is very huge. The entrance ticket is available for 4 days visit. So you can imagine how big this area is. Therefore, if you do not have enough time, you need a brief information that helps us arrange the excellent routes so that we can get the point of view and enjoy it. That is the purpose of this staff, to help us, bravo! Thanks to Huan Huan, female staff, your instruction is awesome. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is amazing with many varian cuisine. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. The kind thing is this hotel put drinking water (bottles) everywhere. It is very pleasant, so hotel guests do not worry about drinking anymore. One more satisfying thing is the drain shower. The water pressure is strong but soft. Getting our body washed with a treatment like this after a tiring journey is very enjoyable.

The location is great, 5 minutes away by foot from the entrance to the park. The lady boss was very enthusiastic and helped us book the tickets for the park and gave great recommendations! The room was very clean, big and comfortable. The shower was hot and worked well. The only thing that could be improved is the heating. We were there on very cold days, and the heating provided by the air conditioner was not enough to warm us up in the room, so we were quite cold for our entire stay. Thank you for a great stay!
