A bit far away from the Zermatt train station. But nice view of Matterhorn.

Trip.com did not state the linen fee charges per person on their website. When I arrived I was shocked that a 4CHF per person per night has turned in a 78 CHF payment which is a huge discrepancy. However, it took me about 2 hours and I resolved this with the service reception of Alpen. There is no main reception in this lobby but the service providers were superb. The room is amazingly spacious and clean and it was an overall lovely stay thanks to the great service and comfort of the room.

Location is not too far from train station in zermatt. Large apartment & nice look out roof windows. Price reasonable for large area.

It was within walking distance from the station! It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. There was no front desk and check-in was done using a machine at the entrance. You get a reservation number by email in advance, enter it and pay the accommodation tax to enter, but it's a little difficult because they don't speak Japanese. There is a kitchen in the room and all the necessary dishes, pots, and microwaves, so you can eat in your room! The nearby supermarket closes around 8pm, so you might want to be careful! I was grateful that there was a vending machine in the hotel. The room was clean and there was a balcony and an ashtray so you could smoke outside. However, check-out was by 11am, but I was surprised when someone opened the door and came in at around 10:30am. They apologized and closed the door immediately, but I wonder if it was a cleaning staff member? It wasn't scary because we were a couple, but I think it would have been scary if I had been alone or if I was a woman.

1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4pm, you cannot check in manually. You can only self-check in on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered a credit card payment error. After calling the service staff, we waited for 15 minutes for someone to come and solve it. The service attitude is very good, but it is really inconvenient to self-check in like this, especially after we skied all day and dragged big and small boxes and walked here very hard. If you arrive at 4pm, it is recommended to go to the Alpen Resort hotel next door (information is in the first picture) to check in first and then come here, otherwise you can't get in and you have to endure the cold😅 2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, and you can cook. We couldn't stand eating white food for a few days, so we went to the COOP supermarket next door to buy ingredients and made the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, pepper fried meat, and green vegetables. It was very satisfying🤭 3. The room has a balcony. You can sit on the balcony and watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer. It must be very comfortable. But we were too tired after skiing all day, and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy it👻

The room was very spacious and clean. It was a little far from the station. There was a bathtub. You can also go out to the balcony. There was coffee and tea.

The environment is not bad, not noisy at all, you can have a good sleep
