We have just returned from a week staying at this lovely residence with my sister and her husband. The couple that manage this property - Norbert and Agnes are truly wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. On our first evening we had booked a restaurant nearby and were a bit apprehensive to drive there in the snow, Norbert offered to drive us and collect us. There is a very welcoming bar area, really homely and charming. Our room (recently refurbished) was exceptional and so comfy with fantastic views of the mountains. There is a swimming pool and sauna to relax in after a days skiing. The skiing in the area is fantastic and extensive (car needed to visit the slopes). The hotel also has a ski and boot storage area (heated). To sum up - a lovely place to stay and a wonderful welcome. The couple that manage here make this the place it is! We didn’t want to leave!

We stayed for four nights and only booked with breakfast. We had high hopes given all the good reviews the hotel has received. The overall experience was not terrible, but simply a disappointment. While the reception area feels fairly modern and refurbished, the rooms (or at least ours) had seen better days and should have been refurbished 10 years ago. Carpet in the hotel room had plenty of stains and most of the interior felt really outdated. This also goes for the pool area, which felt a bit crowded at times and the had very little excitment for the kids. The few toys that the hotel had at the pool area were broken and there was no area suitable for the smaller kids. The bed itself was neither good nor bad, but the pillows were hard and possibly old which made them hard to sleep on. The view from room was a train station and the main road which made it difficult having the windows open during night, resulting in a very hot room most days. The food at the restaurant was mostly tasteless so we decided to drive into town two of the evenings. The terrace is nice and was, together with convenience, only reason for us to dine at the restaurant a second day. Breakfast had many choices and was ok, but not more than that. Most of the staff was quite ok, often trying their best to serve although that also included instructing some teenangers working there as well. The reception was a real low point however. Feeling unengaged and jawned in front of us as we stood talking to her. It felt like this hotel was aspiring for something bigger but did not succeed in any area - compromises all over. Usually there are some comprimises, but it was all over unfortunately.

A fantastic hot spring resort with the backdrop of the Alps that can only be booked for one night during the week. Before check-in, you can use the water facilities except for the hotel-only hot spring facilities. The changing room in the basement of the hotel is shared between men and women, so you may be disappointed if you change clothes in front of the locker. It is called a hot spring, but you can think of it as a warm water swimming pool (it smells like bleach), and there is a nude zone, so be careful. There are many beach chairs, so there are plenty of places to rest, and the staff are very friendly. This is the place where the staff was the friendliest during my trip. The minibar in the room is free, the dinner buffet including the course was delicious, and there was a juicer here, which was nice. Seats are reserved for dinner and breakfast, and there is a reservation name card on the table. They give you a small herbal salt as a souvenir when you check out, and these kind of small services make you feel good. The lobby is on the hill about 2nd floor, so I unloaded my luggage and parked for free in the outdoor parking lot below, but later I found out that there is a parking lot accessible by elevator at the bottom of the building. If you are going, please take note..

I have a complaint. Yesterday, I came to breakfast according to my reservation at the hotel. I did not find a table and I did not find anyone to receive me. So I went to a table where there was no one. I sat down to eat breakfast. I was surprised that the waiter asked me to leave the table in front of everyone, which embarrassed me in front of everyone present and put me at a far table. About the people, and I had to talk to the manager Marco to solve my problem. First, he refused to shake my hand. He showed me the guest list and that I was at the bottom of the list and did not deserve to be in view. He told me that he would reserve a table for me for tomorrow, but when I arrived today, I did not find my room number on any table nor anyone to guide me. Where is the professionalism in this dealing? And the manager tells me that I am at the bottom of the list and I do not deserve your good place!!!
