Close to the port, the beach is right at the door, there is an outdoor bathtub, and the lady boss is very nice
You can rent bicycles, life jackets and masks and snorkels. I saw cold weather jackets but I’m not sure if they can be rented.
As if there is nothing to do on Aka Island, it is recommended to bring instant noodles directly from the main island.
There are no restaurants on the island. There are three small grocery stores, but it is better to bring them directly from the island. You can buy beer there.

Friendly staff. This place is for the younger traveller. The rooms are small and right next to each other; the showers are shared and next to the tiny kitchen but the communal area is nice and it makes for easy interaction with other stayers/travellers. This is a small island so there is not much choice but that you have to accept along with the beauty of the island. Eating establishments are very limited and so I used the single shop and what they had on the day. The snorkeling diving is fantastic. I am glad they made this area a marine reserve as it shows with the whales visible from the island lookouts and the huge variety of colourful fish as many or more than other places I have dived in. Maldives, Galagapos, Fiji, Great Barrier Reef, etc.

We stayed here for about 1 week in October and we cannot recommend this place enough!! If you like chill vibes in a small sleepy snorkling/freediving town that’s walkable and one with nature, then this is your place <3 The rooms were super clean and comfy for us. Yes the bathroom and showers are shared but I don’t mind it. The cleanliness of this place puts any American and European cleaning to shame! The property is close to one beach that’s 2 min away and we snorkelled there every morning. You can also walk to 2 other beaches about 10 min away. The food they served was delicious! We are vegan (for the animals) and they cooked delicious vegan food. Some of the best vegan food we’ve had on our trip. I also had a medical accident and the owner’s wife called the doctor and came with us to the hospital (btw their healthcare also puts American healthcare to share). We are so grateful for their hospitality. All the staff were so nice and accommodating. We dream of returning to this place one day.
