1. Far from train station, as there are many much closer to train station 2. Breakfast is not so good. 3. Very stick, only allow to check in to room only 10min before 3pm even through the room is available.  4. Hotel back entrance is connected to the snow resort. this is plus point.

Overall, I am satisfied with the quiet, clean and tidy environment. I just think that the shuttle bus service only starts at 9:00 and ends at 6:00, which is a bit too late to start and too early to end. Beautiful view outside the window

The tatami is very comfortable and I like it very much. The outdoor hot spring is great. Snowflakes are floating in the sky, and I can enjoy the snow-capped mountains and tree hangings while soaking in the hot spring! The staff are especially friendly and enthusiastic. They helped me check the weather, find the route, and even found my lost hat! Special praise 👍

It's a steep climb from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. If you arrive before 6pm, you can contact the hotel's shuttle bus service. The cable car station is right next to the hotel, making it very convenient to go to Yuzawa Plateau. The room is large, very suitable for a family vacation.

Food service should be more diverse. There is no restaurant during the day.

Absolutely great value for money, highly recommended.

The breakfast is very good, and the adjacent mountain is very quiet.

Comfortable stay right next to the ski slope which was wonderful. The rooms had great views of the snow and ski slope. Room was large and comfortable with nice beds and sleep quality. The room was themed with animes and super heroes which my son loved and they also place some toys in the room for kids which was wonderful. Hospitality was awesome with all welcoming and helpful staff at the reception and whole area. But the highlight was the Onsen - the outdoors onsen is just sooooo beautiful. Great setting to enjoy warm pool and bath under snow which made our stay so much more wonderful. Breakfast spread was great but not much for vegetarians. Will definitely want to come back and recommend to other for a short stay looking for skiing around.

I stayed here using a coupon given out by Yuzawa Town. At check-in, the front desk person spoke very quickly. Since the hotel is managed by the Toei Hotel chain, I was able to choose two out of many Toei goods. Toei movies and anime related items were placed around the front lobby. The exterior of the hotel and reception area looked a little old, but the rooms had been updated and were clean. The room sweets cookies were delicious. The room was a 12 tatami mat with a wide veranda overlooking the city of Yukawa and the snowy mountains in the distance. Most of my companions sat on chairs, so I sat alone in the middle of the large room and relaxed. According to the pamphlet, there will also be Toei's unique pre-characters and Kamen Rider rooms. Now, regarding the bathroom, the washroom area has also been renovated, and there are lockers with locks and a large washroom with a three-sided mirror, making it very comfortable. There was a water cooler in the wash area, and there were various amenities such as creel for heels and cream with glucosamine, but there was no all-in-one. Also, there are no combs, so it's better to bring your own (someone was making a fuss about not having a comb or brush). There are two indoor baths, a large bath. Also, the open-air rock bath is very large (like a pool) and is said to be one of the largest in the area. There was a three-tiered waterfall and the water was hot to the touch. When I asked about it, I was told that it circulates the hot springs. The hot springs are free, transparent and gentle. We had dinner at the restaurant. The 8 appetizer platter and the seafood and pork ham salad looked and tasted great and were perfect starters for the meal. The miso milk hot pot made with soy milk and milk was gentle and warmed my body. The meat dish was imported beef steak, but it was served as a side dish with rice with Chaliapin sauce. The Koshihikari rice from Uonuma was served self-style. The chocolate cake for dessert was also delicious. However, the alcoholic beverages were expensive, starting at 1,540 yen for 300cc (880 yen per cup, 4,400 yen for a bottle of wine). I ordered local sake. The restaurant staff were kind, polite, and kind. Dinner will be a buffet depending on the day (ski sheath, etc.), but I'm glad it wasn't a buffet day and I was able to eat slowly. Breakfast was a buffet at a large venue that could be used for weddings. We ate ratatouille & boiled salmon (which goes well with rice), rice balls, snow-split carrot juice, salted bracken pickled vegetables, and stew of bracken and wheat gluten. It's a normal buffet. The miso soup was salty, but the koji was delicious. Well, this time, the senior plan was 9,900 yen per person (plus discount from Yuzawa Town), so I didn't have high expectations, but the hot springs, room, and dinner were good, so I was satisfied with my stay. Both of us were satisfied and said, ``Let's come again.''
