We were due to stay at this property for a two night stay over the Christmas period. After booking and payment being taken, the owner suddenly decided to charge us an additional £123. We declined and asked him to cancel our booking. What looks like a lovely high end apartment is tainted by rude owners who care more about greed than their guests. Avoid.

Just returned home from a 2 night stay at this beautiful place. We stayed in Platform 1. What a gorgeous apartment. Cooker,fridge,toaster,dishwasher and even a washing machine. No kettle but a tap that you can access boiling water with. Which was amazing everytime you wanted coffee or tea(i now want one of these taps at home)!!! Met Neil the owner on arrival who I introduced himself and said if we needed anything to just contact him. He had left us a lovely welcome bottle of prosecco too which is a lovely touch. Huge bathroom. Shower was amazing. Also the most gorgeous marble bath in the bedroom which we also made use of. The bed was super comfy too. Tv we could access Netflix etc on. Heating was easy to control. Plenty of plug sockets which is also a bonus for phone chargers etc. Unfortunately we didn't make the xmas market as it closed due to the weather but we still had a fabulous time. Would definitely return and would defintely recommend!

Fantastic apartment about ten minutes drive from York city centre. Had platform 8, 2 comfortable bedrooms. Lounge room/kitchen/dining room was very modern. Bathroom was a bit small but overall was fantastic. Was stairs, with no lift. Easy parking. Would definitely recommend.

We are currently staying at Railway House York in Platform 1. We are over the moon with the accommodation, it is fantastic. It is fully equipped with everything you might need, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, TV with streaming services, huge bathroom and a bedroom with a comfy bed. We met Neil, the host, and he was lovely giving us great advice on where to eat. The walk to town is comfortable (and feels safe, even after dark last night) and takes 20 minutes or so. We could not be happier with our decision to stay here.

Nicely decorated apartment with all facilities, such as; dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso (but take your own pods). We were platform 8 top floor so a couple of flights of stairs. Good location with an easy 15 min walk into York. Very clean and comfy. Outdoor area lovely too and plenty of parking.

Amazing location. We walked into the centre of York every day. We stayed in Platform 7. The apartment was beautifully furnished and equipped. We loved the freestanding copper bath! Neil gave us excellent advice on where to go and eat. Highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you!
