"This hotel has a great location near Minato Mirai and Landmark Tower. The room was small but had everything I needed. The view from the higher floors was fantastic. Staff were polite and efficient. The bathroom was a bit old but still clean. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted nice. It’s very close to the station and convenient for sightseeing. The area felt safe and lively. I would stay here again for the location."

"The room was typical for an established five-star hotel, quite conventional. Their strict adherence to rules was almost obsessive-compulsive. I moved the bed against the wall because I had my child with me, but housekeeping would consistently restore it to its original position every day. Then there was the enigmatic tissue box, always placed on the floor between the two beds. I'd move it, only for it to be returned to the exact same spot the very next day. The location wasn't particularly convenient either; there were very few convenience stores nearby, requiring a walk of over five minutes. Given the choice, I'd likely opt for Tokyu next time."

"We had a lovely stay at Yokohama Bay Hotel—the location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the bay and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel does show some signs of age, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The only minor downside was the gym, which was quite small and had limited equipment, along with unusual operating hours. That said, if you’re not relying on fitness facilities, this hotel is a great choice for a relaxing stay in Yokohama!"

"Opened just a year ago after a complete renovation, this is a very modern hotel. Since all the ground-floor, ocean-facing spaces are restaurants, the hotel lobby is uniquely located on the 12th floor. This scenic lobby also doubles as a café, where guests can sit on the outdoor balcony overlooking the view. There's a designated smoking area by the side entrance of the lobby. The facilities are brand new, and the layout is clean, spacious, and stylish. We stayed in a triple room, and even with suitcases open, there was still plenty of space – perfectly suited to Chinese guests' preferences. The bedding is high quality and available for purchase. Let's talk about breakfast. Upon check-in, guests are informed of two options: Japanese breakfast, served at the 12th-floor café, and Western breakfast, served at the 1st-floor Western restaurant. The Japanese option offers three set menus, while the Western option features four main sets. After ordering, you can help yourself to the buffet bar for salads, drinks, bread, and more. The Western breakfast was so delicious that we didn't get a chance to try the Japanese one. Regarding the hotel's location, opinions may vary. Most people might choose to stay in Sakuragicho or Minato Mirai, as this hotel is a bit off the beaten path, situated near Yamashita Park. The Summer Festival is held here, allowing visitors to truly experience the atmosphere of traditional Japanese festivals. The hotel faces the sea, directly opposite the Hikawa Maru ocean liner. As the only surviving international ocean liner from WWII, it's definitely worth boarding and exploring. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the subway station, providing easy access to all Yokohama stops. Directly across the street is a bus stop with direct service to Haneda Airport, with buses running almost every hour. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find Takashimaya department store; Chinatown is 10 minutes away, as is a massive Don Quijote store. A lifestyle plaza is a 20-minute walk, and there's also a Montbell outlet store where we spent four hours. This outlet store offers tax-free shopping, but it requires downloading a third-party app and incurs a 3% service fee, which makes the process a bit inconvenient. Yokohama truly lives up to its reputation as an international port city. Around the hotel, you'll find a wide array of Western restaurants, with impeccable ambiance and cuisine, and even handsome waiters. It's a very cosmopolitan city."

"The hotel's sky pool was advertised as a highlight, but I didn't bring my swimwear so I couldn't use it. I tried to just look around, but the front desk informed me guests could only view it from outside. From what I could tell, it didn't even seem to be an infinity pool. The room itself, however, was great. There's a convenience store on the second floor, and a Blue Bottle Coffee shop conveniently located right next to the lobby on the first floor. Unfortunately, I hadn't done enough research and ended up missing the Yokohama Fireworks Festival, which was a real shame."

"I'm genuinely so pleased with this place, I absolutely have to rave about it! First off, the location is incredibly convenient, super close to Kawasaki Station. I took the Tobu Line from Tokyo Station, and it was less than 30 minutes. I actually think it would be perfectly fine to stay here even if you're planning to explore central Tokyo. It's also just a 10-minute walk to Keikyu Kawasaki Station, making the trip to Haneda Airport a breezy 30 minutes – so convenient! However, a crucial tip: when you exit the station, *do not* go down to the first floor! Head straight out from the second floor of the station, and you'll see the hotel's main entrance right there. You won't find the entrance if you're on the ground floor. I actually spent quite a while wandering around on the first floor following my map, until a very kind Japanese gentleman personally guided us to the hotel's front desk. I was so thankful for his help! 🙏 Later, I discovered a trick: searching for the hotel's breakfast restaurant on Google Maps makes it much easier to locate (I've included a screenshot in my photos). The hotel is quite new, and the service is truly excellent. My friend had sent a package from Shinjuku to the hotel, and when I checked in, the front desk staff promptly retrieved it for me and even had it delivered to my room along with my luggage. Talk about service! I booked the most basic twin room, but it was surprisingly spacious. It wasn't on a low floor, and the city view from the window was quite expansive. What's more, the bathroom counter was generously sized – a rare find in Japanese hotels – with plenty of space for all my toiletries and cosmetics. While the room didn't provide skincare like toner or lotion, they did offer two packets of bubble bath, which made for a wonderfully fragrant soak in the evening! Furthermore, the hotel breakfast was genuinely delicious with a wide array of choices, including a live egg station for freshly prepared dishes. Overall, it felt like a lot of thought and effort went into it. They even provided paper cups in the beverage area so you could take drinks to go – such a thoughtful touch! Besides the convenient transportation, shopping is also a breeze if you're not looking for luxury brands. There's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi right downstairs, stocked with many popular trending products. Just past the connecting corridor from the hotel, you'll find a Montbell store with a good selection, and importantly, they offer tax refunds! There are also tons of dining options nearby, including a yakiniku restaurant visited by Goro (from *Kodoku no Gurume*), though unfortunately, I couldn't find it. I ended up at a slightly pricier but truly delicious one inside 'Dice' nearby! I stayed for one night during the summer on July 9th, and the room, including breakfast for two, cost just over ¥1200. While not exactly cheap, it offered significantly better value for money compared to hotels in central Tokyo! What's more, when I checked Trip.com after my trip, I saw that the same room type was ¥300 cheaper on July 12th! That's incredible value! If I ever visit Tokyo again, I fully intend to stay here."

"Location: Right next to K Arena, which is super convenient if you're attending a show. The soundproofing is also excellent. I stayed for two days, and even with performances happening both days, I couldn't hear a thing, so you can definitely rest assured about that. It's very close to Yokohama Station and SOGO, just a short stroll away. Minato Mirai is about a 30-minute walk. Facilities: Having just opened in 2023, everything is brand new. The lobby is a tad on the smaller side, and only having two restaurants feels a bit limited. While the breakfast selection isn't vast, everything tastes great, and the freshly baked quiches and croissants are a major highlight – highly recommended! Service: The front desk and concierge staff were all young and incredibly polite; absolutely nothing to fault there. The only thing I found puzzling was that housekeeping finishes at 5 PM, meaning room cleaning isn't possible afterward. Is even a 5-star hotel cutting corners like this?"

"Hotel is very convenient with Sakuragicho station just at doorstep (entry n exit) via the new south side. Many attractions nearby and we walked to Cosmo Clock 21, Cupnoodles Museum, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Yokohama World Porters etc. We also walked to the Chinatown to explore the area. Staff are very helpful and polite. Room equipped with Dyson hairdryer, humidifier and fan, and Refa shower head etc. 👍"

"A nice B&B with good overall service and a very affordable price. There is an air-conditioned bathroom and toilet, and a pool for bathing, which is generally very clean. In addition, there is a convenience store not far away, which is very convenient for shopping and breakfast. Living here can give you a more real sense of Japan than Tokyo. And you can take the subway very close to Yokohama in 10 minutes. Overall, I think it is a very good place for this price."
