Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hotels in Yokohama

Great location, many cozy restaurants are around the Yokohama station. Direct train from/to Haneda Airport. Always love the bath and toilet are in separate rooms. A bit noisy environment so need to wear ear plugs while sleeping.

The hotel is quite new, just opened in 2024. It is quite close to the train station of yokohama, covered all the way from the train station to shopping arcades to the hotel. You don't even need to have your umbrella if it rains. The hotel is easy to locate. It is quite tidy with all the basic stuffs in the room. You can watch youtube in the TV. The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing I think can improve, this hotel brand (which I have lived in a number of different hotels from this brand) requires room cleaning (even if you decline so) every 3 days (if you live more than 3 days). I don't think it is necessary if the hotel guests do not require so in order to save manpower and be more environmental friendly (which I think the hotel is on one hand promoting). . Overall, I think the hotel is good.

The hotel is just above the JR. From the second floor, there are many shopping malls and supermarkets around. The conveyor belt sushi next door has a long queue every day. I finally queued once on the last night of my five-day stay. It was really fresh and delicious. No wonder there were so many people. The room size is better than Tokyo. It takes one stop to Yokohama Station, about ten minutes. The third floor is being renovated these days. It will be completed in April and there will be a place to eat breakfast.

Though the first room has a tiny unclean sheet issue , but hotel has helped changed the room very quickly . The service was excellent and polite . Also the breakfast simple but good enough. Like the ramen very much.
