MM52762****My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. Its prime location near Yamashita Park made sightseeing easy and pleasant. The entire hotel was impressively clean and well cared for. I also appreciated the breakfast, which was both delicious and filling. The staff provided excellent service — always warm, helpful, and attentive.

KKhidaiIntercontinental hotel is very good 👍 I really amazed the cleanliness and the amenities is so good i like there shampoo and body soap really good and good smell but the location is far for my 3yrs old baby to go to the theme park because we need to walk for 10mins but over all it was great stay thank you!

GGuest UserI booked this hotel for a fan meeting, primarily just needing a place to sleep. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The comfortable air conditioning and very clean shower room made my stay truly pleasant. The security was also excellent, so I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

GGuest UserI booked a standard double room, and true indeed, the bed is a standard double bed, but the room is very tiny, hardly any place for opening luggage.
The hotel location is closer to the subway than JR station, but either which, is merely a few minutes walk away. There are plenty of eatery nearby, as well as mini-mart and combini, its location is good for visiting Red Brick Warehouse, and is some 15 minutes walk away from Chinatown. It's quiet, but at this moment, there are some renovation work ongoing next door, we were not affected though, after all, renovation work are carried out in daytime only, but trust the Japanese to reduce noise to very low level. The room itself has the general amenities, such as fridge, kettle, inoniser, bath robes etc, some to be collected in lobby (skin care, toothbrush etc), and there is also coin laundry services.

GGuest UserOverall, this is a pretty clean hotel. The room was spacious and quite new, perfectly adequate for two people, and the bed was also a good size. However, its location is a bit far from Yokohama Station. You'll need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to Shin-Yokohama Station first, then transfer trains to Yokohama Station. The price was very affordable; at just 208 for one night, it offered excellent value for money. Plus, the Ramen Museum is conveniently located right next door, where you can enjoy making your own ramen and explore the exhibits.

For this price point in Japan, the room size is quite standard; there's just enough space to open a 20-inch suitcase on the floor without completely blocking the walkway. Chinatown and a baseball stadium are right next door. Sukiya, Aeon, Family Mart, and Lawson are all conveniently located nearby, and there's also a burger shop with a pretty good Wagyu burger. The seaside isn't far either, and a morning walk with the sea breeze felt really refreshing. We took the subway to Minato Mirai, but the shopping center there felt quite deserted, so I wouldn't recommend it.

GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Even during the incredibly crowded Obon holiday, all guests at breakfast were remarkably orderly, and the breakfast itself was excellent. The gentleman at the front desk, who was a bit older, was incredibly patient during check-in, and all other staff members were also very warm and welcoming. The 24-hour lemonade was a great touch. The room's soundproofing was excellent. I've already recommended it to friends and colleagues in Tokyo before my trip even ended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama!

MM235121****I can't recommend the facilities enough. The breakfast spread is incredibly diverse and plentiful, and they even offer a carbonated bath to relax in. In the evenings, complimentary alcoholic drinks are provided, where you can mix your own cocktails. Complimentary skincare amenities are also a nice touch. For a budget-friendly hotel in Yokohama, this place offers outstanding value!

DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
