Before coming to Hongcun, I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would just be another old village to visit and leave. However, my stay at 'Hongcun Yike Homestay' made me feel that every detail of this trip radiated warmth. Upon arriving at Hongcun bus station, I was unfamiliar with the area and was stressing about how to drag my luggage across the stone-paved paths to the homestay while looking at a map. The moment I called, the owner's enthusiastic voice immediately put me at ease: 'Wait there, I'll be right over to pick you up!' In less than ten minutes, the owner appeared on an electric scooter, swiftly tied my luggage to the vehicle, and cheerfully motioned for me to hop on. We weaved through Hongcun's winding alleys and past bustling crowds of tourists. The homestay was tucked away in a quiet lane near Moon Pond, an excellent location. You could see Moon Pond just around the corner, yet it was peaceful and quiet – truly an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, I was captivated by this homestay, a renovated Huizhou-style building. The exquisitely carved porch, wooden corridors, and rustic private courtyard exuded the unique elegance and serenity characteristic of Huizhou homes. Inside the room, it was bright and clean. The antique-style wooden bed paired with a soft mattress offered both classic charm and comfort. The night was exceptionally quiet, and I slept soundly. Early the next morning, I opened the window to a beautiful view of the Huizhou-style horse-head walls in the morning light, distant mountains draped in lush greenery, and the nearby sounds of birdsong and fragrant flowers. It truly felt like living inside a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. On the day of my departure, the owner drove me to the bus station as usual, reminding me of other places I hadn't visited in Hongcun along the way. Before saying goodbye, the owner pulled out a packet of chrysanthemum tea from the trunk, handed it to me, and smiled, saying, 'This is our local chrysanthemum tea, take it home and try it.' Holding that packet of tea, my heart felt warm. Staying here truly felt like returning to an old friend's home in Huizhou, thoughtful and considerate in every way. 'Yike Homestay' truly lives up to its name – making one feel 'at ease' (逸) and so content that guests (客) forget to leave. Next time I'm in Hongcun, I'll definitely stay here again.

This guesthouse in Hongcun Scenic Area is absolutely wonderful! It has a simple yet elegant courtyard with a strong scholarly ambiance. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind, offering luggage pick-up and drop-off services throughout our stay. They also thoughtfully arranged for us to dine at excellent nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. Upon checking in, we immediately headed to Wanxing Tower near the guesthouse for stinky mandarin fish and rice with vegetables, which, unfortunately, were quite bland. However, the design of Nanhu Guanyuan itself is very refined and tasteful, and the breakfast spread offers a great variety, perfect for a heartwarming and satisfying start to the day. The guesthouse is exceptionally close to the Nanhu and Yuezao attractions, making it easy to take leisurely strolls in the morning or evening and soak in the beautiful, misty江南 (Jiangnan) scenery. My trip to Hongcun in Anhui was truly delightful, and staying at Nanhu Guanyuan made it even more enjoyable. Plus, the scenic area's parking lot charges a maximum of only twenty yuan for both day and night, which is incredibly good value.

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, offering a wonderful environment. It boasts a large, tranquil, and comfortable garden. The toiletries in the room are all high-end, which shows great attention to detail. I even enjoyed a quiet moment in the garden before bed. Breakfast was also very generous. The staff were super enthusiastic and helped us with our luggage. A five-star experience!

This guesthouse is a must-stay when visiting Hongcun to see the Huizhou-style architecture. Its location is absolutely superb, within walking distance of all the popular photo spots, making it super easy to plan your sightseeing. The courtyard is elegant and spotless, and the guest rooms are even cleaner and tidier. The attention to detail in cleanliness is truly impressive; there's no clutter or stains anywhere. It's an old house conversion that beautifully preserves its ancient charm while maintaining excellent living standards. My stay here was a perfect experience!

I booked the Hongcun Wanxinglou·Nanhupan Garden Homestay online. It's conveniently located right by the South Lake, near Hongcun's South Gate, making it easy to visit all the core attractions. The room was spacious and tidy, with a separate wet and dry bathroom that had no strange odors. They provided disposable toilet seat covers and decent quality toilet paper, as well as a full set of disposable amenities. The entire homestay has a charming rustic, antique vibe, and the room was very quiet. I was quite satisfied! Due to bad weather forecast for Huangshan the next two days, I canceled my subsequent plans and immediately extended my stay here for another night offline to enjoy a deeper exploration of Hongcun, hehe! The food here is also quite good, and both the owner and staff are very warm and enthusiastic. Recommended!

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

Location-wise, this B&B is right in the heart of everything. It's a renovated century-old house, and you step right out to Moon Pond. The owner is really nice and even offers luggage transfer within the scenic area. Waking up early in Hongcun before the crowds is a completely different experience. Staying here, you can just walk out and see Moon Pond, and South Lake is also very close and convenient.

I forgot to take pictures, but I still want to leave a review. The room was clean and tidy, and the interior facilities matched the pictures online. The underfloor heating was very comfortable; I even forgot to close the window when I slept, but I didn't feel cold at all... The decor was very pleasant, and the courtyard was also very cozy. Aside from the hot water being a bit inconsistent sometimes, everything else was great... The owner was also very welcoming. I originally booked it for the 2-meter king-size bed, and it turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise, especially suitable for sleeping with a child. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here.

There are just too many tour groups in Hongcun, so the only option was to visit during off-peak hours. We arrived around 5 PM, had dinner, explored Hongcun at night, and stayed in the village. The next morning, we left after breakfast, which allowed us to avoid the crowds. Overall, it was a great trip. Hongcun's entrance fee is reasonable and not a rip-off. The 30-year-old Huizhou cuisine restaurant we tried for dinner was also good. This B&B is very close to Moon Pond, and the neighboring building, 'Er Yuan', has a really comfortable terrace. Seeing the Huizhou-style architecture from up high offered a unique perspective. The owner was very polite, and the service was attentive yet discreet, which I really appreciated. Excessive enthusiasm can sometimes feel like an unspoken pressure. The decor is simple and elegant, without being overly flashy, and the price is fair. Recommended!

This guesthouse was the highlight of our Huizhou trip! The environment is fantastic, from the courtyard to the rooms, you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the decor.
