During my trip to Yangshuo, I was deeply moved by the meticulously renovated B&B, Luosu Yunlu, an old house. The designer's ingenious design creates a clear and fluid division of functional areas, creating a unique and tranquil atmosphere amidst the bustling Yangshuo scene, reminiscent of the ”return to the countryside” described in Tao Yuanming's poems. Opening the door to Yunlu, a rustic atmosphere greets you. The room lock deliberately retains a traditional key design. The wooden stick doorplate gently clinks against the heavy key, creating a crisp and pleasant tinkling sound. This unique ”check-in concerto” instantly draws you into the rhythm of slow living. The meticulous attention to detail is evident, even down to the meticulously selected toiletries. A soft-bristled toothbrush paired with a gentle, non-irritating toothpaste caress every subtle touch. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The space is meticulously minimalist, stripped of all superfluous items, leaving only the essentials. Putting aside the distractions of screens, it's like stepping back into the simpler days of our grandparents, where focusing on just a few tasks a day brought peace of mind and body. Of course, if you're seeking the solace of light and shadow, don't worry! The expansive terrace serves as a natural open-air studio, offering a unique experience of watching movies under the stars. The beauty of Yunlu goes far beyond the guest rooms. After enjoying a hearty breakfast or afternoon tea, the joy of exploration begins. The meticulously maintained Chinese-style courtyard, with its changing scenery at every step, is ideal for strolling, meditating, or photographing still lifes. Even more captivating is the expansive, boundless lawn just beyond the courtyard. Spreading green and vibrant, it's a haven for running, laughing, rolling around, and unleashing pure joy. It's a perfect spot for families, where children can run wild. For group gatherings or company-run events, it's the perfect setting for picnics, fun games, or simply sitting and chatting. I also loved the design of the clearwater swimming pool, its light hues exuding a vibrant atmosphere. Leaning by the edge, listening to the gentle gurgling of the water and gazing out at the rolling hills beneath the clear sky, my body and soul felt cleansed by the mountain breeze. The nights are equally beautiful. Walking across the green lawn, I ascend to the exclusive observatory. Far from light pollution, as dusk falls, a sky filled with stars shimmers like diamonds, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for family stargazing or a night out with friends or groups. The attentive butler service is exceptional, reflected not only in the exquisite meals but also in fostering a sense of belonging and tranquility, a place where ”the entire garden is a place of home.” Here, bustle is a shared joy, while tranquility is a rich gift to be enjoyed alone. Staying in the Cloud House, within a small space, I embody the simplicity of grandeur. I deeply experienced the leisurely mood of ”living in the human world, yet free from the clamor of traffic.” This return and satisfaction away from the hustle and bustle is destined to become my spiritual home (Staycation) that I long for and am willing to visit again and again.

We arrived at this hotel, and thought it was very cheap, so we had not so high expectations. The staff were very helpfull and very good at using translations, because they dis not speak english. The room was amazing, it looked brand new. The cleaning was good, and it was nice that there were new bottles of water every day. There was also afternoon tea every day for free. The pool was small but clean, and we enjoyed it, but it would have been nice with a sunbed. There was also a gym, which was nice, but could be nice with a bike or simular. We had a very pleasant stay and will recommend it to everybody.

If you're traveling to Yangshuo with kids, choosing this hotel is an absolute no-brainer! I can't even begin to list all the thoughtful touches from the hotel. From the initial pick-up service to check-in and even departure, everything was handled with incredible care and attentiveness. What truly sets this hotel apart is how genuinely family-friendly it is. Unlike many others, the staff proactively asked if we needed a baby bathtub, special pillows, and even a laundry basin – it's absolutely perfect for families with young children. I think adding a bed rail service would make it even more perfect! The rooftop is great for drying clothes and offers fantastic views. If it weren't so hot, I would have loved to spend more time relaxing on the terrace. Breakfast can be pre-ordered and is also very suitable for babies. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel; the dishes are excellent, with the Beer Fish and Pork Rib Soup being particularly delicious! It made traveling with a child completely stress-free, haha. Service: The owner is incredibly dedicated and meticulously provided detailed tips and itineraries for every route in Yangshuo!

The environment of the B&B is quite warm, not as commercialized as chain hotels, very close to life, and the furnishings are nice for taking photos. Let me talk about breakfast, it's all freshly made, the rice noodles are super delicious, rice porridge, steamed buns and fried eggs are all delicious, the people I met are very enthusiastic, helping with luggage, making people feel like home, the small courtyard is very cozy, if there is a flaw, it is that the room is a little cold, the air conditioner has to be turned on all the time, there is no elevator, and it's a bit tiring to walk up from the fourth floor, except for these two points, I am very satisfied with the rest. Finally, I wish Rongyi a prosperous business, and we will see each other again if we are destined!

We only stayed for one night, but the hotel staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room, the room we have stayed in was very clean, and big, the only hotel so far where I have seen picnic equipment on your own garden. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sue's house is a really beautiful, friendly and welcoming place. The breakfast was really great and the staff was incredibly nice. We got picked up and brought back to the trainstation which was really great. The communication with wechat they offered was really comfortable. All facilities were new and the place was very clean. We would definetly come again to enjoy the view. Even though there was construction around the house, the staff handled that very well and tried to do everything to minimize the inconvenience.

I am traveling with three elderly people in my family who are 200 years old in total. The hotel is located opposite Yuanbao Mountain and it is relatively convenient to drive. My family is quite satisfied with the room. It's clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a nice view. The three young girls I met at the front desk were very attentive in their service. The mung bean porridge in the evening and breakfast in the morning were more suitable for the elderly. recommend

The room's location is fantastic, very close to Chaoban Pier and the scenic spot depicted on the 20-yuan banknote. You can easily stroll down to the riverbank whenever you like. We arrived in the afternoon, and the hotel offers convenient pick-up and drop-off services for the train station. After enjoying afternoon tea, we took a bamboo raft ride to Nine-Horse Mural Mountain and back. The only minor drawback was the intense sun, but otherwise, everything was wonderful. In the evening, we were too tired to go to the ancient town, so we had dinner at the hotel. They also provide shuttle services to and from the ancient town, which is a great convenience. All their services are really excellent. The room itself was excellent, complete with a large bathtub, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. A special thank you goes to the lovely lady who cleaned the rooftop glass this morning. We went up early to take photos, but the glass was all wet. She kindly cleaned it for us – truly wonderful! Overall, the hotel's service was exceptional, making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
