Hotels in Welfare Ancient Town Scenic Spot, Yangshuo

This is the best hotel in Yangshuo. Compared to The Sugarcane, VOCO, Hwa Peng, and Banyan Tree, it offers the best value for money. The staff are well-trained and provide genuine assistance. Even after checking out, they continued to answer all our questions about our itinerary. We stayed in the Jingxuan Villa, which was comfortably sized with excellent facilities. The nightly turndown gifts were a lovely touch. The travel photography service was also good, and the photographer had a great attitude. The entire garden landscape is beautifully maintained, and the various small animals like peacocks, geese, ducks, goldfish, and alpacas provided a wonderful and relaxing experience for guests. If you're driving, the hotel's location isn't remote at all. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Ten-Mile Gallery, and also 20 minutes to take a bamboo raft on the Yulong River. Xingping Ancient Town Pier is only half an hour away. Personally, I think it's far superior to the guesthouses near the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River – there's simply no comparison. We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay. It left a deep impression on our trip to Yangshuo.

This store was discovered unexpectedly! Quack good! The room is very nice! The facilities are also very complete! The environment is really comfortable and relaxing! Stayed for three days and two nights! If you encounter a problem, find the boss! Basically, the problem can be solved for you! And the boss is very enthusiastic and very nice! Must come to this store! Come to Yangshuo must choose this one! Don't believe what the driver of the Didi car said is very remote! My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a week. At first, we were worried we'd chosen the wrong location, as it's a 15-minute drive from the main city of Yangshuo. But later, we realized it was even better: - a beautiful view from the window; in the morning, opening the windows, we couldn't stop admiring the views. - the mountains are even more beautiful, and you can easily walk to them. - you can rent a motorbike, making it easy to explore the nearby sights. - excellent service; in the evening, after exploring, we returned to a perfectly clean and updated room. - attentive and friendly staff, who treated us to fruit, candy, drinks, and even cane sugar one day. They even let us ride a moped for a couple of days completely free of charge. They helped us call a taxi to the train station in advance (DIDI wasn't working). Overall, they were very responsive and empathetic. - there are small places to grab a bite nearby, as well as shops and our favorite, Mixue. If you're looking for more European food, you'll need to go to Yangshuo or order delivery. Overall, compared to neighboring cities, this place is quieter and more peaceful; it lacks the hustle and bustle and chaos.

On a family trip to Yangshuo, we stumbled upon the Fuhai Hotel after visiting Fuli Ancient Town to experience painting fans, and it totally exceeded our expectations! Opening the window felt like stepping into a landscape painting. The hotel is right by Fuli Ancient Town pier, just a few steps from the Li River. Opening the window, you're directly facing the karst peaks, and watching the cruise boats go by is incredibly soothing. The new Chinese-style courtyard is perfect for photos. The rooms come with an extra-large bathtub, ideal for relaxing with a bath after a tiring day. There's an indoor kids' play area with ball pits, building blocks, and picture books. Plus, two outdoor swimming pools where the kids can burn off energy all afternoon. It's quiet and not crowded, offering a one-stop solution for scenery, an ancient village, and kid-friendly facilities. It made our family trip so hassle-free!

The hotel's overall decor is very upscale and elegant, clean and bright. The bedding in the room is soft, comfortable, and skin-friendly. In the afternoon, you can sit outside your room or in the tea room and enjoy some tea. Downstairs, there's also a Peninsula Cafe by the river, which is quite nice. For breakfast, they serve freshly made Guilin-style rice noodles, a local specialty, along with some refreshing side dishes. The butler service is always available and the staff are very attentive. This hotel we booked is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Location (in terms of close to the river) was perfect. There's a private docking area and direct access to the river. ( I swam in the Li River one day - not bad water quality). The other days I swam in the well sized, infinitely pool. As a surprise there's a night cap snack nightly. The location of the hotel in terms of things to do - you will need to drive to the touristy areas (20 yuan is about 30 minutes away, same as the 10 km portrait gallery). There's a super expensive resort next door the Banyan Tree - I went there for food - this place is a fraction of the price and much better. Highly recommend.

If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions and enjoy a relaxed, slow-paced lifestyle, consider staying here. It's relatively secluded and quiet, yet still offers stunning views of the Li River. The guesthouse is right on the riverbank, perfect for swimming, playing in the water, and fishing. I recommend staying in a river-view room, where you can enjoy tea while watching the boats and bamboo rafts pass by. The owner and her family are incredibly hospitable. Advance booking can arrange meals for the day. Electric scooters are also available for easy exploration, and there's a rooftop drying area. The only downside is the small bathroom and the presence of many insects.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was very good, the floor-to-ceiling windows were large, and the children liked it very much. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic, and they also cook in the kitchen. Convenient transportation, five-star praise.

When I booked, I thought it was a twin room and the result was a yard! The scenery is beautiful, opposite is the lucrative cat, the boss has free bamboo rafts to play opposite. The bed is oversized and can sleep 4 adults. The dishes and salmon grown by the boss are delicious. In short, great value, bring the children to the water next time.
