Yangshuo Percent Hotel (West Street Li River) Reviews

A great hotel, beautiful, clean, and luxurious. I enjoy my stay. The location is great, not too far and quite close to the main streets. I highly recommend.

The view is amazing and the room is big and clean. The breakfast is rich has has a lot of varieties. I love it.

Clean room, nice View, good location, nice Food and Coffee.. If your room dont have a View, just go 5th floor they have rooftop bar with a Great View.. Anyway, Keep up the good work!

Room was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry. The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!

The hotel is very comfortable, clean, has a great Spa and very good personall, they also speak english well. The only minus is the sigaret smoke smell in the bathroom, but not to strong.

Amazing accommodation and staff! I took my friend for a birthday trip and they decorated the room fully with balloons, roses and wrote happy birthday in Chinese. They are so sweet and friendly but honest! They advised me and managed my expectations on what to do and what not to do. One of my best experience in China. Thanks a lot and will definitely come back!

Location is very good, near west st n the pier. Service staff were generally helpful n courteous.Cleanliness was generally ok except for the mouldy smell from room. Fortunately clear off after a while.

Nicely located near the wharf and the shopping street. Good services and highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay at percent hotel! We didn’t get to enjoy the view from the room balcony but managed to catch the beautiful sunrise from the roof top instead! Was informed that there was a sudden road construction happening and advised to change room due to the noise in the morning. Getting the booking changed on Trip was easy with the receptionist (Emily) helping us out throughout the way. Emily and her team attended to all our needs during our stay and even help plan our itinerary based on the number of days we were there. Had such a good experience staying here and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent stay. Away from the busy West Street and yet within walking distance. Choose Courtyard facing room for best combination of peace and relaxation

Great location, very near to the boat pier if you took the three star boat down from Guilin! Also very near to the west street (within 10-15 mins walk) so it is very convenient to get food nearby. The room is very clean and nice. The restaurant downstairs also has super delicious food that’s worthy of a try! The rooftop is a great place to chill as well with a nice view

Hotel was great. Special shoutout to Sam who patiently spent each morning sharing with us scenic spots and food recommendations for each day! The housekeeping lady even went above and beyond to wipe some dirt off our luggage and left us extra water. Sam also left us a small departure gift which was very thoughtful. Location was very convenient — walking distance from West Street but without the noise and crowds. Cars are not allowed on the street from 12-4 daily, but this didn't cause us any trouble at all.

Great restaurant and location. View from the roof was lovely, and a great bar!
