For me this hostel was the dream. 20 min walk from the town but yet looking out on to the beautiful mountains and a small farm. The hostel was clean and had everything to i needed with also lots of books and games for rainy days. The hostel had cheap bike and scooter hire as well as helping with shuttles to the railways stations and help booking bigger activities. Every staff member I spoke to had good English which made everything very easy! I wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a great stay as foreigners. Staff speaks english, you can book attrcations and van to Guilin from hotel. You can also use washing machine and kitchen for free. Room with balcony was beautiful. Thank you!

Great hostel, spacious and clean enough, with big windows, common areas. Fireplace is great, creates a friendly atmosphere. They accept foreign passports.

The staff was super nice and helpful, they spoke very good english and also answered our questions about yangshuo.

Really enjoyed time at Sudder Street after was recommended to stay here by friends, beds were comfy with good curtains. Lots of trips you can book through the hostel including hikes, climbing and cooking classes. I ended up hiking with one of the receptionists on one of the days which was great and everyone was very friendly!

Super nice hostel! I have been travelling in china for 10 days, and this one is the best one I have been by far. The staff was super friendly and nice. The hostel provides many facilities (free drinkable water, washing machine, and very low cost drinks). Furthermore, the owner has a deal with a e-scooter rental shop, which makes them super cheap (25¥ per day). There is a cozy environment, which makes it easy to hang out with other travellers. Overall, I would definetly recommend staying here for visiting yangshuo.

The hotel was clean and in nice location. The hosts were the ones who made our trip worthwhile. We come there as a group of 20 teachers. We glad that we asked for their help in planning our trip.

This guesthouse is perfect for a solo traveler. I had the chance to meet a lot of international travelers and to travel across Yangshuo with them. The staff was amazing, always there to help and to provide guidance for your trip (a special mention to Shark, who was amazing from the beginning to the end of my trip). Finally, you can also rent a electric bike to visit Yangshuo in details. I highly recommend you to book here for an unique experience.

Location a bit outside the centre. You can get an e-scooter and have an easier time getting around. Hostel is a bit dark, dingy and old but I met a lot of people there so that made up for the lack of atmosphere.

Loved this hostel. Clean rooms, amazing views. Was about 15mins walk from the centre making it very peaceful. Great pool!

Lovely guesthouse, very aesthetic, clean, and comfy rooms. Laundry is free however there is no lift so a lot of stairs to walk up to the top floor! There is a cosy common area downstairs and lots of outdoor seating where the views are stunning. Lots of international guests and was a lot more sociable than anywhere else we’ve stayed in China. The reception staff speak English and are both very helpful when booking tickets for the attractions, they have lots of information on display about local activities and scooter/bike hire from the hostel. Location is a bit of a walk to West Street but worth it and there are lots of shops and restaurants on the way, notably Jane’s restaurant almost opposite which does western food and breakfast.

I booked the hotel somewhat hastily, recommended by some YouTube influencer. In the photos and videos, it really looked beautiful. The hotel's biggest advantage is the excellent view from the balcony, and the location is very convenient, close to West Street pedestrian street. However, the room feels like it hasn’t been maintained for a long time, with the entire guesthouse using old village style doors from the countryside. While these doors have an antique charm, they aren’t very comfortable to use, for example the long bench. Additionally, there are strange stains on the walls, and the bathroom feels old and not very clean, with accumulated dirt staina and watermarks that haven’t been cleaned. It gives the impression that even the owner doesn’t seem to care much, as everything in the guestroom hasn’t been well-maintained. There are no clothes hangers, tissues, or bottled water in the room, which feels a bit stingy. Good luck 🤞
