The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving. Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey. Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing. Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.

Hotel itself is bit isolated and need to rent a car to get to the hotel. There is nothing stand out in this Marriott hotel. Stayed here for one night due to it's close approximity to the lake and hotel has suna in offer.

The hotel has a simple environment and many attractions nearby. It's a first-class place to check in. Especially when you step out of the hotel in the morning, you will feel very good. Facing the entire Yamanaka Lake, you will be amazed. There is a cafe next to it where you can have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful lake view. It is a pleasant surprise. You can clearly see the entire Mount Fuji in front of you... priceless at this moment

Lovely view of mount Fuji everyday. Room is huge with ample walking space. Bathroom and toilet is separated space There is a large onsen that you can use everyday, with yukata provided. Location is along a stretch of road, easily accessible by car. Do note that the car park can get filled up quickly.

Very comfortable and spacious place. Recommend. The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.

Like a family hotel run by a family of three in Japan. Around the mountain lake, the location is not particularly easy to find, but it is actually very close to the lake. Can't see the lake view, the courtyard forest is very exquisite. The rooms are on the second floor, there are five rooms, they should be tatami rooms, the room is large, there is a separate bathroom and balcony. The bathroom is a hot spring pool bathroom (also has a shower head), because there are not many people, you can enjoy it alone. Dinner and dinner are amazing, the owner is very careful to prepare, delicious and very rich, especially recommended. The young host speaks English, the expression is very serious, the grandmother and grandfather are very kind.

The room is a five-minute walk from the Hirano Beach of Lake Yamanaka, facing Mount Fuji, which is great, but there are not many restaurants around, so it is suitable to drive there and buy food to cook in the B&B. By the way, choose 101 or 102 to have a direct view of Mount Fuji. Then you need to check in by yourself. If the mobile phone link cannot be done, there is a small house next to room 101 with an iPad to handle it.

very nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again

The proprietress Lily is beautiful, enthusiastic and talkative, and we hit it off at first sight! The manor is not big but very distinctive and has an outdoor hot spring, which is very suitable for relieving fatigue during the journey! The environment is quiet and the room is elegantly decorated, which is really full marks for me! It is a warm place, and it is the Japanese hot spring hotel I want! I will definitely come again if I have the chance in the future! The boss and the boss lady are also welcome to visit Guangdong!

The hotel is far from the village of Yamanakako, and the taxi is about 1,300 yen. Although the hotel can pick up and drop off, the language communication is a problem, the manager is very enthusiastic, but the place name he said in English I don't know where it is, but later I learned that it was in the sun, so we finally took a taxi. I don’t have a shop in front of the village. I suggest booking a dinner at the hotel. It’s still very rich, and the rice is especially delicious. The first floor and the second floor are blocked by trees, and there is no Mt. Fuji. On the third floor, there is a small overlooking attic, which can clearly see Mount Fuji. Although it was very close to the Yamanakako Lake, it was blocked by the dense woods. It went far to the right hand side and found a deserted road. It was only at the lakeside and found that there was a very good walking path along the lake. Unfortunately, it took a while. Knowing how to get back to the hotel, I had to return. Hot springs are average. The room facilities are relatively old, the size is not 16-20 mentioned here, it feels three or forty flat.
