When I checked in, I was unexpectedly informed by the front desk that I was upgraded to an executive suite because the room was available, and there was no extra charge. I was very surprised! The room was spacious and bright, the mattress was moderately soft and hard, and the sleep quality was directly improved; it was also equipped with a seasonal fruit plate, and the details were perfect! I will definitely come again next time I go on a business trip.

From arrival, the hotel impressed me with its beautiful surroundings, lush greenery, and excellent facilities. Guest Service Manager Veronica was exceptionally welcoming—she showed us the stunning 70,000 sqm garden and even provided food to feed the swans, peacocks, and other wildlife, making our stay truly special.   The staff were consistently friendly—front desk and concierge always greeted us with warm smiles, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere.   The combination of breathtaking scenery, modern amenities, and outstanding service made this a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Hotel, I can whole heartedly recommend this hotel to any business travellers. The rooms are well proportioned and maintained. Staff extremely helpful and in spite of language challenges from our side the staff persevered with translation apps to resolve every query. Will definitely be staying there again.

The hotel is very close to the airport. When I entered the hotel, the smell of tea was really comfortable. The front desk lady was also very considerate, tall and beautiful. She also gave me a breakfast, which was very nice. The service was very good. What's more important is that I also saw many flight attendants. There are many types of breakfast. It's really good. I will come again next time! I also like the layout of the room, which is ancient and quaint, and it is worthy of the Minnan culture.

The location is very good, parking is very convenient, and there are many foods around. The front desk lady is warm and thoughtful, the questions are patiently answered, the arranged room is very satisfactory, spacious and bright, clean and tidy without odor, I strongly recommend everyone to stay.

The location is good, there are many snacks around, and it's also very close to the eight cities. The attitude of the hotel front desk and room attendants was very good. Everyone smiles and says hello when they see them. The security guards are also very enthusiastic and will come over to help guide you when driving out and remind you to pay attention to safety. The biggest feature of the hotel is the smart equipment in the room, which allows you to control the air conditioning and lights without getting up. It is very comfortable to stay. I will stay here again next time.

The hotel is ”hidden away” in a forest/hill. They do offer a shuttle service to the cities attractions one-way, which you can use daily, so you'd only have to use Didi for the way back. Considering Xiamen is quite a compact city, it's not too inconvenient. But going out in the evening for a night market, or dinner, does require either quite a hike, or always a taxi/Didi ride. If you do like a place that's quiet and just a few minutes by car away from the city, this hotel is for you. If you want a city hotel, where you can find bars/restaurants/supermarkets next door, you're looking at the wrong place. Rooms are regular for a 5* property, nothing wrong. Yes, as others commented, there is a bit of a wet smell in the rooms - due to the hotels location. First room I was given was smelling too bad, second attempt gave me a better smelling room. At least myself, got used to it after a moment in the room. Pool is large, and clean. Proper Sauna as well. Had the executive room with lounge access included (and breakfast). Breakfast was excellent, very solid 5*. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly VERY solid. Club lounge can get busy, and the offerings are better than what you'd otherwise expect. Willa Wu and Cupid Chi, the two ladies running the Executive lounge, gave great hospitality. Really top notch. In short: If you're sensitive on rooms smelling wet and/or want a hotel located in the middle of the city, this hotel isn't for you. Otherwise, it's great. I trully enjoyed my stay, and would stay here again in the future.
