Hotels in Bailuzhou/Dongdu wharf, Xiamen

After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic. After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB. Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The 18th-floor Maritime Silk Road Suite** frames Gulangyu Island vistas, where terracotta touch panels and a Nanyin music-equipped bathroom mirror showcase meticulous Minnan craftsmanship. Manager Allen personally drove to deliver forgotten documents to the airport at midnight (with hand-drawn apology cartoon), while custom jogging maps pinpoint photography hotspots at Huliao Hill. Savory highlights include Longyan claypot ginger duck and 12-topping satay noodle bars. Fridays feature Peranakan Cultural Salons for crafting lacquer thread relief bookmarks, with check-out gift boxes scannable for colonial villa audio tales. A perfect equilibrium between business efficiency and cultural immersion.

Recently I stayed 3 night at the Xiamen airline lakeside, 金雁 hotel during my travel from Boston to Xiamen. I’d like to thank to 吴欣汝(Wu XinYu) who helped me arrange from beginning to end during my stay. She has arranged airport pickup, provided me with clear directions on the places I like to visit, make sure my stay at the hotel is comfortable, daily update of 10-11 PM snacks menu, and airport drop off. With her assistance, I had extremely pleasant stay in Xiamen. This hotel is designed very well; intuitively clear and easier to moving around. The room is super clean and staffs are very polite, attentive and ready to provide assistance if needed. I will stay again when I visit to Xiamen next time. Bonus, behind the hotel is a lake and walk paths around the lake.

The moment you step into the lobby, you're immediately struck by its strikingly luxurious and grand atmosphere. Every detail of the decor exudes sophistication and style, with artistic pieces and exquisite chandeliers harmonizing beautifully, creating a truly delightful ambiance. The front desk service was excellent, and check-in was quick. We even received a room upgrade, and they were very proactive in addressing any concerns. Our room was spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The hotel is conveniently located about 5-6 kilometers from most attractions. A highlight is the unique revolving restaurant on the 34th floor. Breakfast offers a fantastic spread of both Western and Chinese dishes, including local specialties like *Mian Xian Hu* (noodle paste) and *Shacha Mian* (satay noodles).

We always stayed in this Hotel every time we go to Xiamen. I think that it is the best hotel so far, not far away from the airport and also great location. The hotel is clean and smells good. Some staff can speak english but it will be a lot lot better if all of them can speak english. Overall it’s a 9/10 experience.

This was my second stay at the hotel, largely due to its proximity to Yuandang Lake. Enjoying a stroll by the lake in the morning and evening was incredibly pleasant. The lake-view room offered stunning vistas both morning and evening; watching the sunrise cast beautiful, captivating hues across the lake was truly delightful. My friend, who stayed for the first time based on my recommendation, also highly praised it. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Very convenient location just next to the station - jianye metro station. I love that I could just take a stroll up the mountain that was just opposite the hotel too! They had nice welcoming snacks too while I waited for my room to be ready.

Customer service was very helpful especially when I needed help getting things delivered to my room. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was also a highlight, they had a nice variety of food both Asian and western selections.

Very clean, good service, convenient transportation, affordable price, I will stay here again when I come to Xiamen
