Hotels in Bailuzhou/Dongdu wharf, Xiamen

The stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel is located in the core area of ​​Siming District, Xiamen, an 8-minute walk from the subway station, and is surrounded by convenient dining and shopping. The room design is modern and simple, the bedding is very comfortable, and the sound insulation is excellent. The buffet breakfast is rich in variety, especially the freshly cooked shacha noodles are very authentic. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. The gym and laundry room are fully equipped, suitable for business travelers. I will choose here next time I come to Xiamen!

A highly recommended hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, there is free parking, and the hardware and software facilities are excellent. It is also very convenient to travel around. It is only a 10-minute walk from the Xiamen-Gulangyu Pier, and the bus can go directly to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The front desk staff is warm and helpful.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, both the cleaners and front desk staff . Free laundry service is a superb idea especially when there are cleaners to help with the washing and drying. That really saves us a lot of time while traveling. Hotel is a bit old. There is a stain on the ceiling. Personally I find the lighting too dim to my liking. Bed is firm and comfortable Thanks to the guy who kindly extended our check out time till 3pm. Just nice for catching our late afternoon flight home. And to different team members for giving us traveling information, retrieving parcels and offering a scotch tape for my packing. Thank you for making our trip a smooth and pleasant one.

I booked this hotel just for the lake view room. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. The room was on the 4th floor. When I opened the door, there was a large platform. It was quite far from the lake view, but other rooms could also reach it. I lacked a sense of security. The room was also very small and the facilities were a little old. Three people stayed in it. It was a double bed spliced ​​together, but the gap in the middle was obvious. After communicating with the waiter, the attitude was very good. We could change rooms or add a bed. Finally, we decided to add a bed. The room I booked did not have breakfast. The buffet was 68 yuan per person, which was a bit expensive. We went out to eat some special snacks.

The hotel is clean and the service is friendly. The hotel upgraded our room. There is an underground parking lot that can accommodate about 10 cars, and there are also parking spaces on the ground. There is a community behind it, and it is quiet.

I often come to Xiamen and try different hotels and places to stay. This by far has been one of my favorites. I feel like it is a hidden gem that was in front of me the whole time. It is in a very central location. It’s near lost of activities. The hotel was calm and nice environment. The staff were friendly. I highly recommend coming here. I will be back in the future.

The hotel staffs are all friendly, nice and very helpful ! The room is clean and tidy, the location is perfect and you can find some cafes and restaurants nearby. The most attractive one is the lakeside park is just opposite to the hotel. The overall experience is good !

the staff, location and the room is beyond perfect. i was well rested everyday on the very comfy bed and spacious gym that is well equipped. easy to get taxis or didi to and from airport. the next time i come back to xiamen, i will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Like 晶晶 and 小刘 who offered their help to us (two elderly above 72 years old) to carry our luggages to the room without hesitation. Showed that they are caring and respectful to old people. 小刘 even went an extra mile to check that our arrival in Kinmen is safe and smooth. When checking out, the two young ladies Ms 郑 and Ms 杨 were concerned about our stay at the hotel. They were very courteous. Knowing that we are heading to Kinmen, they wished us a great trip ahead Ya. The breakfast was very good too. There are lots of choices ranging from western food to local delight. Overall the experience at Xiamen Airline Lakeside Hotel is wonderful.

First of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!
