We loved our stay at the Zhonlou Yuantuo Hotel! The hotel was very conveniently located to the Bell and Drum towers, as well as the Muslim Quarter. It’s also conveniently placed to the Zhonglou metro station, so you can get around the city with ease. The staff here are all very warm and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms were clean and modern, with some quirky features. We also had the breakfast included, which had plenty of Eastern and Western options. The hotel reception and communal areas were very clean, but the corridor leading to the rooms looked dirty and lacked air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. The room also didn’t match the pictures shown on Trip.com, which was a huge disappointment at first. However, the staff later improved the situation by replacing a dirty cushion, and the reception staff’s service was truly outstanding. My only criticism is the overall quality of the room.
