Xi'an Beilin District Hotels

We had a wonderful time at the Old Locust Homestay. You can tell the owner really cares about his guests. During our stay there was some work being done in the road out front and the owner made sure to help us with our bags coming in and when we left and also offered a complementary room upgrade along with complementary imported coffee and gave us some local treats as a condolence for the issue. He always went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The hotel is newly renovated, very stylist and has great views from the third and fourth floors. We would definitely come back if we are ever in Xi’an again.

The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an.

Located in the heart of the city, very convenient for travel. 5. The hotel has a shuttle service to the airport for only 180 yuan. It's a big car. 6. The room with breakfast is inexpensive, the room is big and clean, the room size is very spacious.

The hotel is newly renovated, nicely decorated with good artistic tastes and well located. The rooms are clean and cozy, with modern electronic equipment. There are free washing machines and dryers available, and, a gym too. Next to the reception, there is a bar and a dining area. Everything is impeccable. What's make this hotel different is their exceptional service. The front desk staff are very caring and attentive. They are accommodating and always willing to help. During our 6 nights stay, they helped us with all our requests and questions. When you are in a 5-star international hotel, the doorman would find a taxi for you. There is no doorman at this hotel, but, the staff went all the way to help us in a heavy rain. In Xi'an, with such a rain, it's difficult to get a car service, and, impossible to find one for a short distance. Two staff used their own accounts to try to reserve car a for us. And, when it failed, they grabbed umbrellas and our luggage, and accompanied us to the nearest bus stop. They waited with us in the rain until the bus arrived. One told the driver to tell us where to get off. He made sure that we would be able to pay the bus fare, and, was willing to pay for us. We went to different countries, we have stayed in 5-stars international hotels before, we never had such sincere, spontaneous help. It's the best hotel in Xi'an. Keep up the good work ! The place was really clean and nice. It had a really nice air conditioning unit with very comfortable beds. It was very quiet at night with a great location inside the walls. The service was really friendly and the cleaning lady even helped us put our clothes in a bag after laundry when we were out. My only complaint is that the swing is really loud and a little boy would always swing at 9:00AM.

This hotel is in a small street less than 50metre distance between main street and the hotel. It is located between the south of bell tower and South gate of Xi'an City Wall. This make it easy for us to travel to all around Xi'an by subway, Didi, Taxi, bus. Room is clean and tidy. However, hall way is a bit dusty but after telling the front desk they clean it. Breakfast is good . Congee with Chinese condiment, fried rice, fried noodle, fried sausage, fried vegetable, Fruit, egg, Noodle bar are the composition of their offered breakfast. I have seen that they offer Roujiemou (Chinese beef sandwich) in their breakfast but I did not taste it. Free bottles of water and plum juice are available on the ground floor near front desk. At least Two usable USB-A, two USB-C plugs together with two type A and two type I of Chinese AC plug are on the wall near beds. A light switch in our room is faulty but after telling the front desk they fix it right away. All TV Channel are in Chinese language. All in all I think that this hotel is a good value hotel for a tourist.

The hotel reception and communal areas were very clean, but the corridor leading to the rooms looked dirty and lacked air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. The room also didn’t match the pictures shown on Trip.com, which was a huge disappointment at first. However, the staff later improved the situation by replacing a dirty cushion, and the reception staff’s service was truly outstanding. My only criticism is the overall quality of the room.

One of the best hotels we stayed at on our holiday! Hotel definitely deserves 5 stars for the facilities and service. The location is very good, you are 10 minutes walk from the City Wall and also Yongningmen subway station (lift access available). Our booking only had 2 breakfasts included but upon check in the receptionist added the 3rd breakfast for free (as it was assumed the 3rd guest was a child before checking in). Breakfast buffet (Chinese and Western) was really great, all of the selections were delicious. The room itself was very spacious, the only thing to note is the aircon turned loud sometimes but we just turned it off when we slept. Bathroom was huge! As with many hotels, delivery robots will bring your ordered food up to you. All in all a very modern and practical hotel, we will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

It is located right inside the South Gate (Yong Ning Gate). Close to many tourist sites by walking. The roof top bar/restaurant has a spectacular view where you can see the South Gate and the City Wall. They also place free bottled waters next to the lifts. Very thoughtful. I wish they would have safes in room where you could store valuables such as passports. I ended up asking the front desk to store my passport. The roof top bar needs to expand their beer selections beyond you typical industry lagers. I really enjoyed the view but could not invite friends over since we would not have much drinks to choose from. The 24 hour self service laundry was a nice touch but wish they would have separate washers and dryers. All and all I really enjoyed the stay. Initially booked three nights but ended up extending two more nights.

Great location, right in the city center, close to the Bell & Drum Tower and Zhonglou subway station, making it very convenient to get around & visit many attractions (just one subway stop away from Yongningmen Gate of the Xi’an city wall & the morning market). We booked the Eastern King Room, locate on the 12th (top) floor of the hotel - the room was quite spacious & well-equipped. Especially convenient was the separated of the toilet, shower, and sink areas, which made usage very comfortable. We arrived in Xi’an by early morning and the hotel promptly helped us store our luggage. Both the check-in & check-out procedures were fast & efficient. As a Trip.com customer, I received a welcome fresh fruit plate & thoughtful gifts from the hotel upon check-in & check-out, including snacks, a hand-painted bilingual Xi’an color map, and a souvenir representing China’s intangible cultural heritage. A special thanks to Doris, the hotel’s front desk staff, for her enthusiastic & helpful support throughout our stay, from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Her service truly reflected the hotel’s impressive motto “60 seconds for critic”
