Everything was perfect. Couldn't recommend a hotel more!
The bed was extremely comfy, linen very soft (I want the same for my house!!), location is perfect, I could use the washing machine upon arrival with the help of the staff and let my laundry dry on the roof, which was very nice. Moreover, I had an issue at the Terracotta Army (lost something important to me) and I asked the person at the reception to call the museum for me as my Chinese is far from being good enough, and he very kindly did, even though they were a bit hard to reach, and not very cooperative. Thank you again for everything! I will definitely book here again if I come back to Xi'an.

Brilliant homestay with a fantastic location. Situated on Shuyuanmen pedestrian street, and just a two minute walk across the road to the South Gate entrance of the City Walls. Directly outside the homestay you have plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to dine in. It was also in walking distance to attractions such as the Bell and Drum Tower and the Muslim Quarter.

For our cultural trip after the high school entrance exams, staying in an academy-style hotel was simply perfect. The entrance was so unassuming we almost missed it, but once inside, winding paths led to a secluded and tranquil retreat. Both the reception area and our room were adorned with classical charm. We had booked a 'Light Ink' double room, but the kind front desk attendant upgraded us to a family suite free of charge and went out of her way to offer fantastic sightseeing recommendations. Our room was spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, and the soft, lightweight bedding was the best we'd encountered on our entire journey. Right outside, you can easily find handmade souvenir fans, calligraphy scrolls, and traditional seals. The entrance to Yongning Gate City Wall is just a stone's throw away, and it's also conveniently close to the subway. Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

The hotel owner was exceptionally hospitable, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Our room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a wonderful night's sleep. I particularly adored the elegant, classical decor, which was very tastefully done. The location is also fantastic, making it super convenient to visit all the attractions. Highly recommend this place!

If you want to stay in the historic Xian, right near the ancient walls, near everything you need, close to a subway station, and a 5min bike ride away from all the best food Xian offers, this guesthouse is good for you. The guesthouse is super quiet and peaceful even though you are in the heart of Calligraphy Street. The room is clean and comfortable, and they clean your room each day.

Clean as described. No elevator if you have big luggage. Location is good but it is inside a little corner and on walking street market so you have to walk and find it. Find the man on the picture below and the alley right beside him.
