The outside appearance is not the greatest, and they need to implement better security/safety features. However, the room was clean, comfortable, and was quiet during the night. Would recommend for an affordable stay, but only if you’re traveling with other people and not alone.

Our 100 Percent non-smoking Super 8 hotel located at the junction of Highways 61 and 43 at the base of the Sugar Loaf Bluff in beautiful Winona Minnesota. Our staff is friendly. We offer a free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice complete with freshly made hot waffles. Our guests also enjoy benefit of well known Wyndham Rewards Program.

The hotel is newer and is probably the best choice in Winona. It features very spacious rooms. Our double queen room was more like a suite because it featured the area with the two beds and a separate area with a pull out couch. Both rooms had a TV and even the bathroom had a TV! The room was very clean and again very large! The pool area featured a larger deeper pool and a smaller zero-depth walk-in toddler pool as well as a hot tub and even a sauna! WiFi worked fine. The shower was great with plenty of hot water and pressure. The free breakfast was typical for this hotel category with a few hot items plus the hot cinnamon rolls that are always really good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Really not a single complaint. This place is top notch and should be strongly considered when visiting here.
