A great location for photography...a very modern and beautiful and clean hotel...it always smells good...you can have several things in one place together...really take care of the cleanliness of the hotel every day...and I really liked the cleanliness there.

I’ve booked Low Wood Bay a few times but this was the first time using trip.com - we got an excellent deal and the customer service was brilliant from both trip.com and Low Wood Bay. There had been heavy snowfall so things were a bit up in the air with whether we would be coming or not due to road closures but the staff were brilliant. Thankfully we did get to come for the night and we’d booked the spa the following day. It is one of the best spas I have been to. The views are stunning. The hotel itself is really lovely, fantastic location, extremely clean and all the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be coming to stay again and can’t recommend enough for a relaxing break.

Grest place to relax and enjoy the location, the spa is excellent and so relaxing. The food we had was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed and very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that you are charged £12 to park your car per night, that’s okay if you are just using the spa but I don’t agree with it when you are staying at the hotel and spending money there, I found this very disappointing.

Excellent hotel, service and location

Never I have ever checked out in less than 30 minutes of checking in to a hotel. I paid close to £450 for what was recommended but overwhelmingly disappointing for our last day on vacation. 1) We provided advanced notice that we required a baby cot. We checked in close to 20:00 for when we put the baby down but the cot was not there. There was plenty of time to put the cot in there with a 3 pm check in. 2) There was no offer of assistance at check in with our bags. This only came when we checked out 30 mins later! 3) No complementary water in room 4) When we wanted to find out the whereabouts of the cot and water, we found that the phone in the room didn’t work! 5) Damp smell covered with an artificial pine aroma reminiscent of inside of a recently cleaned car. We took the decision to check out as we didn’t want to end our journey on a bad note and decided to check in to Linthwaite House Hotel which turned things around very quickly at short notice. We didn’t try their restaurant nor their spa which is supposed to be amazing. To be charged a 5 star price for a 2/3 star service really didn’t sit well. I will be visiting the area again as I have relatives in the area but I don’t think I’ll be visiting this hotel again.

We were only given two single beds rather then a double bed and even requested nothing was available, Then even worse there wasn’t any heating in the room , and we were offered an electric heater which was so unpredictable that we decided to keep off. Very uncomfortable night for a very expensive price. Not happy at all🥵

I booked this stay for my husbands birthday. I have stayed at a few spa resorts and to be honest I was left underwhelmed by the experience. We had a 'dirty towel ' in the room which smelt dirty and had stains on it. I did get it changed and the lady was very apologetic. If tgat was it then it would have been fine however the service in the bar was atrocious. We went to the bar on Saturday evening. We had to wait 10 minutes to get served which was fine but then from asking for our cocktail order we had to wait a further 25 minutes. The poor young boy on the bar was new and didn't know how to make cocktails so he had to wait for Leah, to take over. That would have been fine except Leah was flirting with 2 men at the bar from a wedfing party and kept us waiting 25 minutes from placing our order to actually receiving it. Then I know it is petty but when you are buying a passion fruit martini you sort of expect the half passion fruit. But no. Not here. There wasn't any. Neither were there any cocktail straws to drink it - only full sized strangers?? Apart from the dirty towel the room was mediocre. Please can someone from management lie on the sofa bed in room 275? The springs in the mattress have gone and my poor daughter had to endure a night on what was excruciating. I think a bag of spanners would have been more comfortable. Please can the manager just check thus out? Finally as I said I have stayed in a lot of spa resorts and though this is a beautiful location the attention to detail let's it down. No tissues or slippers in the room and we booked for 3 but only had towels and gowns for 2. For the price I expected more sorry.

The hotel is very confusing. There are two buildings. The one behind the parking lot looks like it is not a hotel. The pictures of the hotel are very deceiving! The hotel is actually a house next to the highway! It’s not directly next to the beach! ! ! Looking at the picture, I thought it was a sea view room with a balcony, but I was given a window room above the lobby front desk! Is this a sea view? I came here unexpectedly and specially booked a sea view room that cost 2,500 yuan, but I didn't sleep all night! First of all, there is no air conditioning in the room and the windows are not sealed. The hotel is on the wind outlet of the lake, and it was super cold in the strong wind all night! ! ! The room temperature is as cold as the outside! The heating didn't work at all! The curtains can't be closed! Because this room is on the light strip at the front entrance of the hotel, the lights are on all night long! I really can't close the curtains! I went to a restaurant for dinner in the evening. The blue restaurant was fully booked. I had breakfast in the W restaurant. The steak was terrible and the smoked salmon was the leftovers from breakfast. At 7 o'clock, the lights in the restaurant suddenly turned on. The waiter said that this hotel It lights up at 7 o'clock every night, and then goes dark again. No one knows why... It's scary to say that it is a 165-year-old house after all. . . This building is made of wood. As long as you walk on the floor, the whole building and bed will sway... Summary: 1. Don’t order when it’s cold! Freezing to death without air conditioning! 2. Don’t book a sea view room. There is no need to waste money. I don’t know if it is discrimination. In short, Ctrip patiently communicated for a long time, but the hotel refused to change the room and refused to admit that its pictures were deceptive! 3. The hotel is next to the highway. This one is next to the main road and not next to the lake at all. The so-called lake view is really deceptive. If you don't sleep well, it will make you crazy! 4. The hotel is too old, the floorboards are shaking when walking, and there is also the legend that the lights are mysteriously turned on at 7 o'clock every night, as told by the waiter, I really can't sleep. 5. The decoration and materials are not worthy of scrutiny, and the details are very poor. 6. Breakfast is very average 7. You can have more and better choices in the British Lake District for between 2,500 and 3,500 yuan. After reading this article, you will never choose this one! If you choose technology, please choose Willow Branch House with a thousand yuan. 8. The sea view room is a fraud, there is no balcony, only the highway!

I traveled to the UK with my children during the summer, and I was deeply impressed by this hotel in the Lake District. It was originally an unintentional choice, but the result was very pleasant. The room facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was the best and most stylish breakfast in the entire trip to the UK. If you have the opportunity, you will definitely choose this hotel next time you come to the Lake District. Note: There is a Chinese service person at the front desk of the hotel, which is very good

Fake willow trees, better not have them! Very poor front desk service!

This hotel is equivalent to a four-star hotel. It is located in the lakeside scenic area. You can see the beautiful scenery of the lake when you open the window. The environment is beautiful and the hygiene is impeccable. I am very satisfied! Recommended for tourists.

We booked a double bed or two single beds. It has been indicated at the time of booking that an extra bed fee of 25 pounds will be charged. I remark wishing for a double bed. The actual check-in is a single bed, and we accepted it, but the child's extra bed is not made at all. Since it is marked that there is a charge for the store, should the extra bed be made in advance? There will be small episodes, but generally acceptable.
