Check was fast, friendly and efficient. Room was very good. Large bed, safe balcony, very clean, tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with good choices in all areas. Pool looked clean but didn't use it. Dinner menu had a good selection of dishes but again did not use.

Very friendly reception staff speaking fluent English who make the customer feel comfortable. A car is required to be in this hotel. The room is nice, however the bathroom plumbing needs to be reviewed (hot water is slow to come) and the bathtub and sink need to be modernized despite the quality of the cleaning. The restaurant is excellent with professional waiters.

It was an unforgettable experience. The hotel and staff are excellent. We went during Easter and every day of our instance we had a detail in the room. The only thing to comment on is the spa, which when there is a lot of demand is difficult to access.

We stayed group of 4 we where there for long golf weekend. Hotel was in great location clean and tidy, we where upgraded to a suite which was helpful as one had pull out bed in lounge and one had bed in bedroom. Good food for breakfast and staff where super helpful. The only slight down side we felt cinnamon smell in reception was quite over powering, it smelt like from a plug in but was very potent, some may like it but not for us

We loved this hotel on our first stay in March 2022 so returned in September this year with relatives from overseas Food was excellent as we remembered, likewise the staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. Unfortunately we stayed in room 121 which is above the kitchen area and were woken up during the night and early morning by doors being opened and closed and various other noises. I would have given another 5 stars if it weren't for the lack of sleep we experienced.

100% recommend. First of all it's very clean, which is very important to me. Staff was so lovely, and attentive, especially Pedro, he went an extra mile! Location is good, close to Marina, food was excellent. Pool was good, always had sunbeds available at any time of day. We were there for a week and it wasn't overcrowded like you get at some big hotels. Will definitely go back.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth 4 Stars We recently stayed at the Vilamoura Garden Hotel and, unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected for a supposed 4-star hotel. While the staff were friendly, they were clearly not well-trained or particularly competent. The biggest issue was the hot water. It took around 10 minutes for any warm water to come through in both the shower and sink. When we raised this at reception, the response was simply that we needed to wait—apparently, this is normal here. Even the hotel technician who came to check the issue stood around for 10 minutes, then shrugged and said, “Warm water – what’s the problem?” The advertised “garden view” was also misleading. In reality, the rear parking lot is larger than the garden, so don’t expect any scenic greenery. Other small but annoying details added to the disappointment: no bathroom cups, a non-functioning climate control system, and a general lack of cleanliness. The hotel itself is neither modern nor well-maintained, which makes the 4-star rating highly questionable. Overall, this hotel does not meet the standard it claims to. There are much better options in Vilamoura at this price point. Would not return.

We travelled as a family of 3 for a weeks holiday. The Vilamoura Garden Hotel was fantastic. The hotel was clean, modern and quiet. Reception staff were helpful with excellent English. There is a ramp up the handful of stairs to the lift from reception. No problem for us, but this is actually quite steep for wheelchair users and they may require assistance. Our room was 114 (garden view) with a separate lounge area made into a sofa bed for our son. The bedroom was large with a free electronic safe. This was a nice surprise as we're used to being charged for the safe! There was also a free bottle of water, tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. AC was great and could be set separately in the bedroom & lounge areas. Each area had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Some TV channels were in English including sports and movies. The bathroom wasn't huge, but it was clean and modern and the rainfall shower over the bath was lovely. The room was cleaned and towels changed daily. There are also robes under the sink. The pool is fairly small but our son still had plenty of fun splashing round in it. We never had a problem getting a sunbed. Towels are free from reception. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. There's sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, mushroom, toast, cheese, meats, yoghurts, pastries & cakes, tea, coffee, OJ, water etc. Plenty of choice for our fussy 10 year old. Pedro was an absolute ray of sunshine welcoming us to breakfast every morning; so friendly and helpful. We also ate there for dinner once. The food, wine and service were good and prices in line with the marina area. The hotel is a 25 min walk to the marina. The Hilton next door has a shuttle bus that Vilamoura Garden guests can use which runs morning and evening. We took this to the beach and to/from the marina a couple of times. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the smaller boutique feel of the hotel and the excellent standard of service. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.

Just got back from a short break hotel in a great location staff really went out of their way even offering to make My wife something that wasn't on the menu rooms changed every day lovely breakfast fantastic beds King size very clean would definitely be back

Fabulous boutique hotel - couldn’t fault the staff, they are all so very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms well equipped with amazing toiletries and lovely white robes. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious and they even had almond milk for me. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Hope to visit again soon - A*

The whole place was amazing. The facilities were top notch, the staff were all fantastic and the whole experience was brilliant. The bed was nice and big & clean every day. Breakfast was so good & breakfast staff were all great. The pool area was a perfect size for a relaxing holiday, not empty but not too busy to be able to enjoy yourself. Perfect location, only a 20 minute walk to the marina and the scenery on the way down was amazing. The staff at reception (especially the young man but didn’t catch his name) were extremely helpful with any questions and we managed to get into our room on the first day at 11am which was so handy. The hotel really made mine & my partners experience incredible and I would recommend to anyone!

This hotel is a lovely little place. Nice, comfortable,spotlessly clean rooms. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast was really good lots of choice. We did have a meal in the restaurant on our first night which was very nice. It’s in a nice quiet location, but easy walk into the marina, which takes around 20 minutes. Pool is small, but is good for a dip to cool off. Good sunbeds and umbrellas and no need to reserve, always one available. All in all this place is a little gem, we will be back. Thank you to all the staff you do a great job.

It is a quiet hotel when we stayed, which suited us. Golfers can be guests and can be noisy. We enjoyed our stay. My only criticism was the choice of food was limited, which I think is part of the jet2 deal. There was some building work across the road but it didn’t bother us and wasn’t noisy. Visit the Hilton nearby and use the shuttle bus to the marina and beach. All staff were very good, I will try to mention some of them. I think there was two Michelle’s, Tiago, Pedro, Seeya and Rickardo and lady with surname Espirito Sankto. Excuse my spelling. All very efficient and polite and helpful. A credit to the hotel.
